Never insert fingers, pencils, or any other object through the grille when the fan is running on the MIDEA FT40-21M.

Disconnect the MIDEA FT40-21M fan when moving it from one location to another.

Be sure the MIDEA FT40-21M fan is on a stable surface when operating to avoid overturning.

DO NOT use the MIDEA FT40-21M fan in a window; rain may create an electrical hazard.

When the MIDEA FT40-21M fan was assembled, the rotor blade guard shall not be taken off anymore. The rotor guard shall not be disassembled/opened to clean the rotor blades.

Prior to cleaning the MIDEA FT40-21M fan, unplug the fan power.

To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the motor free of dust. Do not disassemble the fan to remove dust.

Do not allow water or any other liquid entering into the motor housing or interior parts of the MIDEA FT40-21M fan.

Be sure to unplug the MIDEA FT40-21M fan from the electrical supply source before cleaning.

Plastic parts of the MIDEA FT40-21M fan should be cleaned with a soft cloth moisten with mild soap. Thoroughly remove soapsuds with a dry cloth.

Step 1: Align Screw Holes on the outer ring of both the Front and Rear Guards of the MIDEA FT40-21M, with the Positioning Clip aligned as illustrated.

Step 2: Press down all the Buckles to fasten the Front Guard with the Rear Guard. At the Screw Holes, tighten the separated screw and nut.

Screw the lock nut of the grill clockwise, and in the meantime, fix the rear grill of the MIDEA FT40-21M.

Pull the blade to rotate after installing, so as to ensure that the blade can be normally rotated.

Lock the nut of the blade anticlockwise, and then install the front fan cover of the MIDEA FT40-21M.

Tilt Adjustment on the MIDEA FT40-21M is done Manually by adjusting the motor head position.

To adjust oscillation on the MIDEA FT40-21M, use the clutch knob. Push the knob up to stop oscillation, and push it down to oscillate.

Speed settings for the MIDEA FT40-21M fan are controlled via the Body key with positions 0, 1, 2, and 3.
