Ensure the manual nozzle is open before operating the handle. To latch the handle, squeeze the lever, push the latch button on the rear of the gun, and then release the lever. To release the latch, simply squeeze and release the lever.

How do I disassemble the control handle?
- Remove the oil delivery hose from the control gun inlet swivel.
- Unscrew and remove swivel from the control gun inlet.
- Carefully unscrew the valve cap, remove the valve spring and valve stem assembly from the gun body.
- Remove the Gun Handle.
How do I reassemble the control handle?
- Clean and inspect all parts for wear or damage. Replace any suspect, worn, or damaged components. Lightly lubricate all o-rings and seals before assembly.
- If required, carefully place new o-rings onto the valve stem. Note: o-ring has a green dot and is different to the 2 o-rings.
- Re-fit the gun handle.
- Carefully insert the valve stem assembly into the gun body.
- Replace the valve spring, then replace the valve cap. Ensure the valve spring locates around the nipple on the underside of the valve cap.
- Replace the swivel assembly. After assembly, ensure the control gun handle is operating correctly.
How do I maintain the manual nozzle?
- Using a spanner and strap wrench, unscrew the nozzle cap from the nozzle body. All the nozzle seals must be replaced if the nozzle is disassembled.
- Remove all the old seals from the nozzle body.
- Inspect the nozzle cap and nozzle body for damage. Replace if found to be damaged.
- Replace all the nozzle seals.
- Lightly lubricate the seals, then reassemble nozzle.
What should I do if the oil control gun fails to operate?
Do not hit the oil control gun if it fails to operate. Refer to the “trouble shooting guide” or return the unit to your nearest authorized service center.
What could cause a constant oil leak from the nozzle and how do I fix it?
A damaged o’ring (16,17) could cause a constant oil leak. Replace the damaged o’ring to fix it.
What could cause an intermittent drip from the nozzle and how do I fix it?
The nozzle may be open or damaged. Remove the nozzle and blow out any dirt particles, or close the nozzle fully or replace the nozzle seals.
What could cause an oil leak from the valve stem area and how do I fix it?
Damaged o’rings (16, 17 or 18) could cause an oil leak from the valve stem area. Replace the damaged o’rings to fix it.
What could cause an oil leak from the swivel inlet and how do I fix it?
A damaged swivel could cause an oil leak. Replace the swivel to fix it.
