Check the camera video cable and connections. Disconnect and reconnect the cable at the system and at the camera.

Try moving the camera to another channel or use another cable.

The camera may not be compatible with the recorder.

The power output of the recorder’s PoE switch may be exceeded, especially if you have multiple PTZ cameras. Lorex PTZ cameras come with a power adapter, which you can use to power the camera instead of the recorder’s PoE ports.


Why does my LOREX N862A63B beep during motion detection?

The system beeps during motion detection because motion detection is enabled and the alarm buzzer is activated for that event. To disable this, go to the motion detection configuration screen and uncheck the Buzzer option.


Why am I not receiving email notifications from my LOREX N862A63B?

    How do u switch from black n white to color

      On page 21 of this manual it says:

      “The settings listed below are only shown if they are supported on the selected camera. Some camera models do not support all setting”

      “Black&White for the camera to use black and white mode at all times. Select Color for
      the camera to use color mode at all times.”
