If you attempt to play a DVD with a different regional code, the message “Check Regional Code” will appear on the TV screen.

How do I assemble and connect the speakers?

1. Assembling the Speaker Stands:

Before connecting, assemble the speakers. Attach the speakers to the speaker stands by rotating the screws provided in the package.

2. Attaching the Speaker Wires to the Unit:

Match each wire’s colored band to the same colored connection terminal on the rear of the main unit. To connect a wire, press the plastic finger pad on the terminal to open it, insert the wire, and then release the finger pad to secure it.

3. Connecting the Wires to the Speakers:

Connect the other end of each wire to the correct speaker according to the color coding below. Connect the black end of each wire to the terminals marked – (minus) and the other end to the terminals marked + (plus).

Speaker Connection Color Code:

Color Speaker Position
Grey Rear Rear right
Blue Rear Rear left
Green Center Center
Orange Subwoofer Any front position
Red Front Front right
White Front Front left

CAUTION: Be careful to ensure children do not put their hands or any objects into the speaker duct (the hole for bass sound on the speaker cabinet). Also, the speakers contain magnets, which may cause color irregularity on a TV or PC monitor screen. Keep speakers away from TV screens or PC monitors.

How should I position the speakers for the best surround sound?

For the best possible surround sound, all speakers except the subwoofer should be placed at the same distance from your listening position.

Front Left (L) and Front Right (R) Speakers: Place these to the sides of your TV or monitor, flush with the screen surface if possible.

Center Speaker: Place the center speaker directly above or below the TV or monitor.

Surround Left (L) and Surround Right (R) Speakers: Place these speakers behind your listening position, facing slightly inwards.

Subwoofer: The position of the subwoofer is less critical as low bass sounds are not highly directional. However, it is better to place it near the front speakers. Turn it slightly toward the center of the room to reduce wall reflections.

How do I connect the system to my TV?
