Installation:

• Use this appliance on a dedicated circuit with a correctly rated breaker or fuse. Do not use a defective or underrated circuit breaker.

• Always ground the product to prevent the risk of fire or electric shock.

• Do not install, remove, or re-install the unit by yourself. This should be done by authorized personnel.

• Be cautious of sharp edges on the case and fins when unpacking and installing the product.

• Do not install the product on a defective or deteriorating installation stand.

• Install the panel and the cover of the control box securely.

• Always check for gas (refrigerant) leakage after installation or repair.

• Install the drain hose correctly to ensure water is drained away properly.

• Keep the product level during installation to avoid vibration or water leakage.

• Do not install the unit where it will be exposed to sea wind (salt spray) directly, as this can cause corrosion.

Operation:

• Do not modify or extend the power cable.

• Do not run the air conditioner for a long time when humidity is very high with a door or window open, as moisture may condense and damage furniture.

• Do not place anything on the power cable.

• Do not operate the product with wet hands.

• Do not place a heater or other appliances near the power cable.

• Do not allow water to run into electric parts.

• Do not store or use flammable gas or combustibles near the product.

• If flammable gas leaks, turn off the gas and open a window for ventilation before operating the unit.

• If you notice strange sounds, smoke, or smells, turn the breaker off or disconnect the power supply cable.

• During a storm or hurricane, stop operation and close the window.

• Do not open the inlet grill during operation.

• Ventilate the room from time to time when operating it together with a stove or other heating devices.

• When the product is not in use for a long time, disconnect the power supply.

• Do not expose your skin directly to cool air for long periods.

• Do not block the inlet or outlet of air flow.

Maintenance & Cleaning:

• Turn off the main power when cleaning or maintaining the product.

• Do not touch the metal parts of the product when removing the air filter, as they are very sharp.

• Use a soft cloth to clean. Do not use harsh detergents, solvents, or water hotter than 40°C.

• Always insert the filter securely and clean it every two weeks or more often if necessary.

• Do not drink the water drained from the product.

• Use a firm stool or ladder when cleaning or maintaining the product.

Remote Control Batteries:

• Replace all batteries in the remote control with new ones of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries.

• Do not recharge, disassemble, or dispose of batteries in a fire.

• If liquid from the batteries gets on your skin or clothes, wash it well with clean water.

Preparing for Operation:

1. Contact an installation specialist for installation.

2. Use a dedicated circuit.

Usage Guidelines:

1. Being exposed to direct airflow for an extended period of time could be hazardous to your health. Do not expose occupants, pets, or plants to direct airflow for extended periods.

2. Due to the possibility of oxygen deficiency, ventilate the room when the unit is used together with stoves or other heating devices.

3. Do not use this air conditioner for non-specified special purposes (e.g., preserving precision devices, food, pets, plants, and art objects). Such usage could damage the items.

Your LG LRNU07GSEV0 ARTCOOL Mirror indoor unit has the following parts:

• Air inlet

• Plasma filter

• Air filter

• Air discharge

• Front panel

• Signal receiver

• Power cord

• ON/OFF button

The operation indication lamps on the display panel signify the following:

• On/Off: Lights up during system operation, error code display, and auto restart setting.

• Sleep mode: Lights up during sleep mode auto operation.

• Timer: Lights up during timer operation or sleep mode auto operation.

• Defrost mode: Lights up during defrost mode or hot start operation (for heat pump models). In defrost mode, the unit stops the heating operation for a few minutes to remove ice formation on the heat exchanger coils.

• Hot start operation: Stops the indoor fan during heating operation for a few minutes to prevent cold air from blowing out from the unit.

• Plasma: The function illustrates its dynamic mode by using a multiple lighting system.

• Power Display: Indicates the setting temperature and operation mode (Cooling, heating, auto operation, dehumidification mode).

The optional wireless remote controller has the following functions:

1. Start/Stop Button: Press to start or stop operation.

2. Operation Mode Selection Button: Used to select the operation mode (Cooling, Auto, Healthy Dehumidification, Heating).

3. Room Temperature Setting Buttons: Used to select the desired room temperature.

4. Indoor Fan Speed Selector: Used to select fan speed in four steps: low, medium, high, and Chaos.

5. Jet Cool: Operates the unit at a super high fan speed for rapid cooling/heating.

6. Chaos Swing Button: Used to stop or start louver movement and set the desired up/down airflow direction.

7. On/Off Timer Buttons: Used to set the time for starting and stopping operation.

8. Time Setting Button: Used to adjust the time.

9. Timer Set/Cancel Button: Used to set the timer when the desired time is obtained and to cancel the Timer operation.

10. Sleep Mode Auto Button: Used to set Sleep Mode Auto operation.

11. Air Circulation Button: Used to circulate room air without cooling or heating.

12. Room Temperature Button: Used to set the desired horizontal airflow direction.

13. Plasma (optional): Used to start or stop the plasma-purification function.

14. Horizontal Airflow Direction Control Button (optional): Used to set the desired horizontal airflow direction.

15. Reset Button: Initializes the remote controller.

16. 2nd F Button: Used prior to using modes printed in blue at the bottom of the buttons.

17. Auto Clean (optional): Used to set Auto Clean mode.

Important notes for handling the remote controller:

• Aim the remote at the signal receptor on the indoor unit to operate.

• The signal can be received at a distance of up to about 7m.

• Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote controller and the signal receptor.

• Do not drop or throw the remote controller.

• Do not place the remote in a location exposed to direct sunlight or near a heat source.

Before performing any maintenance, turn off the main power to the system. Do not touch the plasma filter within 10 seconds after opening the inlet grille, as it may cause an electric shock.

Air Filters:

The air filters should be checked and cleaned once every 2 weeks or more often if necessary.

1. Open the front panel to access the filters. There are two methods depending on your unit type:

• Type 1: Open the upside of the panel and lift it up. The hooks of the panel will come off. Remove the air filters.

• Type 2: Open the front panel, then pull the filter tab slightly forward to remove the air filter.

2. Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or warm soapy water. If dirt is not easily removed, wash with a solution of detergent in lukewarm water.

3. Dry the filters well in a shaded area after washing.

4. Reinstall the filters back in place.

Plasma Filters:

The plasma filters should be checked and cleaned once every 3 months or more often if necessary.

1. Remove the air filters first as described above.

2. Pull out the plasma filter.

3. Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner. If it is very dirty, wash it with water.

4. Dry the filter well in a shaded area and reinstall it.

Deodorizer Filters:

1. Remove the deodorizer filters located behind the air filter.

2. Expose them to direct sunlight for 2 hours.

3. Insert these filters back into their original position.

When the air conditioner is not going to be used for a long time:

1. Operate the air conditioner in Fan operation mode for 2 to 3 hours. This will dry out the internal mechanisms.

2. Turn off the circuit breaker. Dirt may collect and cause a fire if left on.

When you plan to use the air conditioner again:

1. Clean the air filter and install it in the indoor unit.

2. Check that the air inlet and outlet of the indoor/outdoor unit are not blocked.

3. Check that the ground wire is connected correctly.

• Do not overcool the room. This is not good for your health and wastes electricity.

• Keep blinds or curtains closed. Do not let direct sunshine enter the room when the air conditioner is in operation.

• Keep the room temperature uniform. Adjust the vertical and horizontal airflow direction to ensure a uniform temperature in the room.

• Make sure that doors and windows are shut tight. Avoid opening doors and windows as much as possible to keep the cool air in the room.

• Clean the air filter regularly. Blockages in the air filter reduce airflow and lower cooling and dehumidifying effects. Clean it at least once every two weeks.

• Ventilate the room occasionally. Since windows are kept closed, it is a good idea to open them to ventilate the room now and then.

If your LG LRNU07GSEV0 does not operate, please check the following:

• Have you made a mistake in the timer operation?

• Has the fuse blown or has the circuit breaker been tripped?

If the issue persists after checking these points, please contact your dealer.

This is a normal function of the unit’s protection mechanism. Please wait about three minutes, and the operation will begin.

If your unit is not cooling or heating effectively, please check the following points:

• Is the air filter dirty? Refer to the air filter cleaning instructions.

• The room may have been very hot when the air conditioner was first turned on. Allow time for it to cool down.

• Has the temperature been set incorrectly?

• Are the indoor unit’s air inlet or outlet vents obstructed?

Certain sounds are a normal part of the air conditioner’s operation:

• A noise that sounds like water flowing is the sound of freon (refrigerant) flowing inside the unit.

• A noise that sounds like compressed air releasing into the atmosphere is the sound of dehumidifying water being processed inside the unit.

This sound is generated by the expansion and constriction of the front panel and other parts due to changes in temperature. This is normal operation.

Please check the batteries in the remote control:

• Are the batteries depleted? If so, replace them.

• Are the batteries inserted in the opposite (+) and (-) directions? Please check and re-insert them correctly.

The Filter sign lamp is a reminder to clean the air filter. After cleaning the filter, you can reset the light. If you have a wired remote controller, press the Timer button and the down arrow button at the same time for 3 seconds.

This is likely not caused by the air conditioner. Check that this is not a damp smell exuded by the walls, carpet, furniture, or cloth items in the room.

Condensation occurs when the airflow from the air conditioner cools the warm room air. This is a normal occurrence, similar to how moisture forms on a cold glass on a humid day. If water is dripping where it shouldn’t be, ensure the drain hose is properly installed and not clogged.
