When installing the LG 70UN7100PUA, please adhere to the following safety instructions:

1. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Regardless of the size or type of the LG 70UN7100PUA, follow these instructions to prevent scratching or damage:

1. It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in.

2. Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

3. When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

4. Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grille area.

5. Use at least two people to move a large TV.

6. When transporting the TV by hand, hold the TV upright; never turn the TV on its side or tilt it towards the left or right.

7. When handling the TV, be careful not to damage the protruding buttons.

8. Avoid touching the screen at all times.

To mount the LG 70UN7100PUA on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

4. Do not apply foreign substances (oils, lubricants, etc.) to the screw parts when assembling the product.

5. Ensure the TV is attached to the stand securely to prevent overturning.

The wall mounting specifications for the LG 70UN7100PUA are as follows:

To secure the LG 70UN7100PUA to the wall:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts inserted at the eye-bolts position, remove the bolts first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

4. Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to the LG 70UN7100PUA while referring to the following:

1. Connect the RF cable to the TV. Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable.

2. Complete all connections between devices, and then connect the power cord to the power outlet to prevent damage to your TV.

3. Use a signal splitter if using 2 TVs or more.

To enable HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color on the LG 70UN7100PUA:

1. Navigate to [Picture] -> [Additional Settings] -> [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color].

2. Select “On” to support 4K @ 50/60 Hz (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0).

3. Select “Off” to support 4K @ 50/60 Hz (4:2:0).

Note: If the device connected to the Input Port supports Ultra HD Deep Color, your picture may be clearer. However, if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, change the setting to off.

You can operate the LG 70UN7100PUA using the button located on the TV:

Power On: Press the button.

Power Off: Press and Hold the button.

Menu Control: Press the button when the TV is on.

Menu Selection: Press and Hold the button while in the menu.

Note: All running apps will close when the TV is turned off.

When the LG 70UN7100PUA is turned on, press the button one time. You can adjust the following Menu items using the button:

Turn the power off: Select the Power icon.

Change the input source: Select the Input icon.

Adjust the volume level: Select the + or – Volume icons.

Scroll through saved channels: Select the Up or Down Channel icons.

To use the Magic Remote with the LG 70UN7100PUA, you must first pair it:

1. Put batteries into the Magic Remote and turn the TV on.

2. Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote control.

3. If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, turn the TV off and back on, then try again.

To unpair the Magic Remote from the LG 70UN7100PUA:

Press the (BACK) and (HOME) buttons at the same time for five seconds.

Note: Pressing and holding the GUIDE button for more than 5 seconds will disconnect and re-register the Magic Remote at the same time.

If you cannot control the LG 70UN7100PUA with the remote:

1. Check if anything such as tape has been placed over the receiver.

2. Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

3. Replace the batteries with new fresh ones.

If the LG 70UN7100PUA turns off suddenly:

1. Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

2. Check if the auto-off function is activated in the settings menu.

3. If there is no signal while the TV is on, the TV will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

To clean the LG 70UN7100PUA:

1. Unplug the power cord and wipe gently with a soft/dry cloth.

To control the LG 70UN7100PUA externally:

1. Connect the USB to Serial(RS-232C) converter/RS-232C(Serial) input jack to the external control device (such as a computer).

2. If using a USB to Serial converter with USB Cable, connect the USB end to the TV’s USB IN port. Note that the converter is not provided.

3. If using an RS-232C (Serial) cable (DE9 D-Sub 9pin), connect to the RS-232C IN (CONTROL & SERVICE) port on the TV if available.

4. If using a Phone jack Type, purchase a phone-jack to RS-232 cable and connect to the RS-232C IN port.
