To attach the stand to your LG 55UK7500PUA:

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Attach the stand base to the TV using the provided screws. Ensure they are fastened securely.

3. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a stable table.

4. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space from the wall for proper ventilation.

5. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

To anchor the TV to a wall for safety:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt positions, remove them first.

2. Mount wall brackets with bolts to the wall. The location of the wall brackets should match the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Note: Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely. Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided.

Before installing, remove the stand by performing the stand attachment in reverse. It is recommended to use an LG brand wall mount. If using a different brand, ensure the device is adequately secured to the wall with enough space to allow connectivity to external devices.

You can operate the TV’s basic functions using the single button on the unit.

Basic functions:

• Power On: Press the button.

• Power Off: Press and hold the button.

• Menu Control: Press the button when the TV is on to access the menu.

• Menu Selection: Press and hold the button to select a menu item.

Adjusting the menu:

When the TV is on, press the button once to access the adjustment menu. You can then press the button repeatedly to cycle through the options:

• Turns the power off.

• Changes the input source.

• Scrolls through the saved channels.

• Adjusts the volume level.

To use the remote, open the battery cover, install two 1.5V AAA batteries matching the polarity, and close the cover. Point the remote toward the TV’s remote sensor.

First, pair the Magic Remote with your TV. If a “Magic remote battery is low” message appears, replace the batteries.

• Wheel (OK): Press the center of the wheel to select a menu. Scroll the wheel to change channels.

• up/down/left/right buttons: Scrolls the menu. If the pointer is in use, pressing these buttons will make the pointer disappear and the remote will operate like a general remote. Shake the remote to display the pointer again.

• BACK: Returns to the previous level.

• BACK*: Clears on-screen displays and returns to the last input view.

• GUIDE: Displays the program event schedule.

How to register the Magic Remote Control:

To use the Magic Remote, you must first pair it with your TV.

1. Put batteries into the Magic Remote and turn the TV on.

2. Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) button.

If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV off and back on.

How to deregister the Magic Remote Control:

Press the BACK and HOME buttons at the same time for five seconds to unpair the Magic Remote from your TV.

Pressing and holding the GUIDE button will let you cancel and re-register the Magic Remote at the same time.

To enable this feature for clearer 4K pictures, navigate to: Settings → Picture → Additional Settings → HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color.

• On: Supports 4K @ 60 Hz (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0).

• Off: Supports 4K @ 60 Hz 8 bit (4:2:0).

If the device connected to the HDMI port also supports ULTRA HD Deep Color, your picture may be clearer. However, if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, connect the device to a different HDMI port or change this setting to “Off”.

If you cannot control the TV with the remote control, try the following steps:

• Check if anything, such as tape, has been placed over the receiver on the TV.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the TV and the remote control.

• Replace the batteries with new fresh ones. Do not mix new and old batteries.

If you experience no image or sound, follow these troubleshooting steps:

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products to it.

If your TV turns off unexpectedly, check the following:

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may have been interrupted.

• Check if the auto-off function is activated in the settings menu.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

• Flickering: If the TV feels cold to the touch, there may be a small flicker when it is turned on. This is normal and not a malfunction.

• Dot Defects: Some minute dot defects may be visible on the screen as tiny red, green, or blue spots. However, they have no adverse effect on the TV’s performance. This panel is an advanced product containing millions of pixels, and in a very few cases, you may see fine dots. These are deactivated pixels and do not affect the TV’s performance and reliability.

• Image Sticking (Burn-in): Displaying a still image for a prolonged period may cause image sticking. Avoid displaying a fixed image on the TV screen for an extended length of time.

• Avoid touching the LCD screen or holding your finger(s) against it for long periods, as this may produce temporary distortion effects.

• Cracking noise: A cracking noise that occurs when watching or turning off the TV is generated by plastic thermal contraction due to temperature and humidity. This noise is common for products where thermal deformation is required.

• Electrical circuit humming/panel buzzing: A low-level noise is generated from a high-speed switching circuit, which supplies a large amount of current to operate the product. It varies depending upon the product. This generated sound does not affect the performance and reliability of the product.

You can connect an external control device (like a computer or A/V control system) to control the TV’s functions. The connection type may vary.

USB to Serial converter with USB Cable:

Connect the USB to Serial converter to the USB IN port on the TV. LGTV supports PL2303 chip-based converters.

RS-232C with RS232C Cable (D-Sub 9pin Type):

Connect a DE9 (D-Sub 9pin female-to-female type) RS-232C cable to the RS-232C IN (CONTROL & SERVICE) port on the TV.

Set ID Configuration:

To control a specific TV, you need to set its ID number.

1. Press SETTINGS to access the main menus.

2. Scroll to (General → About this TV or OPTION) and press OK.

3. Scroll to SET ID and press OK.

4. Scroll left or right to select a set ID number (1-99) and select CLOSE.

5. When finished, press EXIT.
