Viewing Environment and Duration:

• Viewing Time: When watching 3D content, take 5-15 minute breaks every hour. Viewing for a long period may cause headache, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Viewing Distance: Maintain a distance of at least twice the screen diagonal length when watching 3D content. If you feel discomfort, move further away from the TV.

Age-Related Guidelines:

• Infants/Children: Viewing 3D content for children under the age of 5 is prohibited. Children under 10 may overreact; special monitoring and extra attention are required. Children have greater binocular disparity and perceive more stereoscopic depth than adults.

• Teenagers: Teenagers under 19 may be stimulated by light from 3D videos. Advise them not to watch 3D videos for a long time when tired.

• Elderly: The elderly may perceive less of a 3D effect. Do not sit closer to the TV than the recommended distance.

Health Considerations:

• Some users may experience a seizure or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content.

• Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• 3D content is not recommended for those who suffer from stereo blindness or stereo anomaly.

Symptoms Requiring Discontinuation:

• Stop watching 3D content if you feel fatigue from lack of sleep, overwork, or drinking.

• If you experience symptoms like headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, discomfort, double image, or visual inconvenience, stop watching and rest until the symptom subsides. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist.

Using the 3D Glasses:

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses for proper viewing.

• Do not use 3D glasses as normal glasses, sunglasses, or protective goggles.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as it will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and easy to scratch. Always use a soft, clean cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not use sharp objects or chemicals.

If a fixed image is displayed on the TV screen for a long period, it can become imprinted and cause a permanent disfigurement known as “image burn” or “burn-in,” which is not covered by the warranty. To prevent this:

• Avoid displaying a fixed image on the TV screen for a long period (2 or more hours for LCD TVs).

• If the aspect ratio of the TV is set to 4:3 for a long time, image burn may occur on the letterboxed area of the screen.

1. Open the package and ensure all accessories are included.

2. Attach the stand to the TV set.

3. Connect an external device to the TV set.

4. Make sure the network connection is available. TV network functions can only be used when a network connection is made.

Unpacking:

Check your product box for the following items: Magic Remote Control with batteries (AA), Owner’s manual, Cable holder, Stand Screws (8 EA, M4 x 20), Composite video cable, Component video cable, Cinema 3D Glasses, Stand Body, Stand Base, Polishing cloth, Power Cord, Wall mount inner spacers (4 EA), Desk-mount Screw (2 EA), Bracket Screw (M4 x 8, 2 EA), and Desk-mount Cable (2 EA). The number of 3D glasses and inclusion of some items may vary depending on the model or country.

Attaching the Stand:

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

2. Assemble the Stand Body to the Stand Base.

3. Attach the assembled stand to the TV using the 4 stand screws (M4 x 20) provided.

4. Tighten the screws firmly to prevent the TV from tilting forward.

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• When transporting a large TV like the LG 55LM7600-UA, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV by hand, hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn the TV on its side or tilt it towards the left or right.

• Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

Mounting on a Table:

1. After attaching the stand, lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) of space between the TV and the wall for proper ventilation.

3. To prevent the TV from falling over, it should be securely attached to the floor/wall per installation instructions. Tipping, shaking, or rocking the TV may cause injury.

4. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Adjusting the Angle:

You can swivel the TV 10±2 degrees to the left or right to adjust the angle to suit your view. When adjusting the angle, watch out for your fingers to avoid personal injury.

For the LG 55LM7600-UA, please use a wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. The specifications are as follows:

Important Cautions for Wall Mounting:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

• Use an authorized LG wall mount and contact a qualified professional for installation.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard.

Antenna or Cable: Connect an antenna or cable to the ANTENNA/CABLE IN port using a coaxial (75Ω) cable.

HD Devices (HDMI): Use an HDMI cable to connect devices like a Blu-Ray player or HD Cable Box to any of the HDMI IN ports. HDMI is the best way to connect for digital video and audio. The HDMI IN 1 (ARC) port supports Audio Return Channel, which can send digital audio to a compatible device without a separate optical audio cable.

Devices with DVI (DVI to HDMI): Use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect the DVI OUT of an external device to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port on the TV. Connect a separate audio cable from the device’s audio out to the (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port on the TV.

Component Devices: Use a component video cable (Green, Blue, Red) and an audio cable (White, Red) to connect to the COMPONENT IN ports on the TV. Match the cable colors to the corresponding ports.

Composite Devices: Use a composite video cable (Yellow) and an audio cable (White, Red) to connect to the AV IN ports. Match the cable colors to the corresponding ports.

PC Connection:

• Method A (HDMI): Connect your PC’s HDMI output to any HDMI IN port on the TV. It is recommended to use HDMI IN 4.

• Method B (DVI to HDMI): Connect your PC’s DVI output to the HDMI IN 4 (PC) port with a DVI-HDMI cable, and connect audio from the PC’s audio out to the TV’s (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port.

• Method C (RGB): Connect your PC’s RGB OUT (VGA) to the TV’s RGB (PC) port with a VGA cable, and connect audio from the PC’s audio out to the TV’s (RGB/HDMI-PC) AUDIO IN port.

External Audio System (Digital Optical): Connect an optical audio cable from the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port on the TV to the optical audio input on your audio system. If using an external audio device, set the TV speaker feature to Off.

USB Devices: Connect a USB storage device (flash memory, external hard drive) to any of the USB IN ports. To store apps, use the USB IN 3 (USB Apps) port. To use a USB Hub, connect it to the USB IN 2 (USB Hub) port.

Registering the Remote:

To use the Magic Remote, you must first pair it with your TV. To register, simply press the Wheel (OK) button on the remote while pointing it at the TV.

Re-registering after Failure:

1. Press and hold the BACK and HOME buttons together for 5 seconds to reset the remote. The pointer light will blink.

2. Register it again by pressing the Wheel (OK) button.

Remote Control Functions:

• Pointer: Move the remote to control the on-screen pointer.

• POWER: Turns the TV on or off.

• BACK: Returns to the previous level.

• HOME: Accesses the Home menu.

• Wheel (OK): Selects menus or options and confirms input. Scrolls through saved channels.

• Navigation buttons (up/down/left/right): Scrolls through menus or options. If you press a navigation button while the pointer is on screen, the pointer disappears and the remote works like a regular remote. Shake the remote to make the pointer reappear.

• VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume level.

• CH ^/v: Scrolls through the saved channels.

• (MUTE): Mutes all sounds.

• 3D: Used for viewing 3D video.

• MY APPS: Shows the list of Apps.

• Q.MENU: Accesses the quick menu.

Precautions:

• Use the remote within the maximum communication distance of 10 m (32.8 ft).

• Interference may occur from devices using the same 2.4 GHz bandwidth, such as a microwave oven or wireless LAN product.

• An Access Point (AP) should be located more than 1 m (3.28 ft) away from the TV.

When you turn the TV on for the very first time, the Initial Setting screen appears. Follow these steps to customize the basic settings:

1. Connect the power cord to a power outlet.

2. In Standby mode, press the power button on the remote control to turn the TV on.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to customize your settings:

• Language Selection: Select a language for the on-screen display.

• Using the Magic remote control: Sets up the Magic remote control.

• Environment Selection: Select Home for the home environment. (Selecting Store puts the TV in demo mode).

• Time Zone Setting: Selects the time zone and daylight saving.

• Network Connection: Sets up your network to enable network-related features.

• Auto Tuning: Scans and saves available channels automatically.

• Auto Energy Saving mode Setting: Selects the Auto Energy Saving mode.

• 3D-On-Start Setting: Selects the 3D-On-Start option (For 3D TV).

• Setting is completed: Confirms the setting options.

4. When the basic settings are complete, press the Wheel (OK) button.

If you do not complete the Initial setting, it will appear every time the TV is turned on. You can also access this menu later by going to OPTION in the main menu.

The User Guide allows you to more easily access detailed TV information directly on the screen.

1. Press the HOME button on the remote to access the HOME menu.

2. Select User Guide and press the Wheel (OK) button.

Within the User Guide:

• You can browse categories and items using the remote.

• The guide shows descriptions of the selected menu. Use up/down to move between pages.

• You can select “Try Now” to move directly to the selected menu from the User Guide.

• You can zoom in or out of the screen for better readability.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and to extend the product lifespan.

Before you start:

• Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• For dust or light dirt: Wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• For major dirt: Wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

• CAUTION: Do not push, rub, or hit the surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may result in scratches and image distortions. Do not use any chemicals (waxes, benzene, alcohol, thinners, etc.) as they may damage the screen’s finish and cause discoloration. Do not spray liquid directly onto the surface.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

The LG 55LM7600-UA supports various 3D formats. Video input in the following formats is automatically switched to the 3D screen. For 3D digital broadcasts, the method may differ, and you may need to manually convert settings.

3D Supported Mode (Automatically)

For models supporting WiDi, you can set the 3D mode in the same way as in RGB (PC) mode.
