To attach the stand to your LG 55LB561B-ZC TV, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown may differ from your TV and stand type may vary by model.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Assemble the stand parts. Depending on your model, you will attach either the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base or combine the two parts of the stand base.

3. Attach the assembled stand to the TV set.

4. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws (4EA). Depending on your specific model, you will use either M4 x L14 or M4 x L20 screws. Please refer to the diagrams in your manual to confirm the correct screw size and assembly type for your model.

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket with an RF cable (75 Ω). The antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

Please note the following:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to use more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier properly to improve the image quality.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• Supported DTV Audio for your LG 55LB561B-ZC are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

If your LG 55LB561B-ZC model supports satellite connection, connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The cable is not provided.

You can transmit video and audio signals from an external device to your LG 55LB561B-ZC TV by connecting the device with a Euro Scart cable. Ensure that any Euro Scart cable you use is signal shielded.

The output type from the AV1 (TV Out) port depends on the current input mode:

When connecting various external devices like HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your LG 55LB561B-ZC, please consider the following:

• The external device connection may differ from the model.

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connect the TV signal input cable to the TV through the DVD recorder or VCR.

• Refer to the external equipment’s manual for operating instructions.

• If you connect a gaming device to the TV, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

• In PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

Optional extras can be changed or modified for quality improvement without notification and only work with certain models. For your LG 55LB561B-ZC, the compatible accessories are:

Your LG 55LB561B-ZC TV has a single Joystick Button located below the TV screen. This button is used to operate the TV’s functions. The TV also has speakers, a remote control sensor, and a Power Indicator.

You can operate basic TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button up, down, left, or right. When your finger is over the joystick button and you push it up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press the joystick button itself first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume level and saved programmes.

When the TV is turned on, press the joystick button one time. You can adjust the menu items by moving the joystick button up, down, left, or right.

To prevent your LG 55LB561B-ZC from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright, never turn it on its side or tilt it towards the left or right during transport.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to cause flexing or bending of the frame chassis as it may damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

This feature is not available for all models. To secure your TV to a wall:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolts position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Note:

• Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

• Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. To mount your LG 55LB561B-ZC on a wall:

1. Disconnect the power first, and then move or install the TV. Otherwise, electric shock may occur.

2. Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV carefully.

3. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

Ensure you use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty. Do not overtighten the screws as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

Wall Mounting Bracket Specifications (Separate Purchase)

Make sure to point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. The descriptions are based on the LB55** and LB56** models.

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 55LB561B-ZC, navigate to SETTINGS > SETUP > Auto Tuning. This function will automatically find and store programmes that are currently broadcasting. Note that if the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work. If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

To calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality on your LG 55LB561B-ZC, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Wizard III. This feature allows you to adjust the picture using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices. This feature may depend on the model.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode. The available options are:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness to display vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption (Depending on model).

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is the adjustment menu provided for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To calibrate the screen for each picture mode or adjust picture settings for a special screen, go to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode > Advanced Control / Expert Control. First, select a Picture Mode, then adjust the following settings:

• Dynamic Contrast: Adjusts the contrast to the optimal level according to the image brightness.

• Dynamic Colour: Adjusts colours to make the image appear more natural.

• Skin Colour: Sets Skin colour spectrum separately to implement the skin colour as defined by the user.

• Sky Colour: Sky colour is set separately.

• Grass Colour: Natural colour spectrum (meadows, hills, etc.) can be separately set.

• Gamma: Sets the gradation curve according to the output of the picture signal in relation to the input signal.

• Colour Gamut: Selects the range of colours that can be expressed.

• Edge Enhancer: Shows clearer and distinctive yet natural edges of the video.

• Expert Pattern: Patterns used for expert adjustment (Depending on model).

• Colour Filter: Filters a specific colour spectrum in RGB colours to fine-tune colour saturation and hue accurately.

• Colour Temperature: Adjusts the overall tone of the screen as desired.

• Colour Management System: A system for experts to adjust colour with a test pattern, selecting from six colour areas (Red / Green / Blue / Cyan / Magenta / Yellow) without affecting other colours.

To adjust detailed settings for images, navigate to SETTINGS > PICTURE > Picture Mode > Picture Option. The options available depend on the model and input signal:

• Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise in the picture.

• MPEG Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise generated while creating digital picture signals.

• Black Level: Adjusts the brightness and contrast of the screen to suit the black level of the input picture.

• Real Cinema: Optimizes the screen for movie viewing.

• Motion Eye Care/SUPER Energy Saving: Saves power consumption by adjusting the brightness corresponding to the movement of the image on the screen (Depending on model).

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and to extend the product lifespan. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect all cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

Cautions:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

• Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

Go to Q.MENU > USB Device. Select the USB storage device that you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate the device from the TV. Once a USB device has been selected for removal, it can no longer be read. To use it again, remove the USB storage device and then re-connect it.

When using a USB storage device, please be aware of the following:

• If the USB storage device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Some USB storage devices may not work or may work incorrectly.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended that you use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended that you use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility and the manufacturer is not responsible for data loss.
