To attach the stand to your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV, place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches. The assembly process varies slightly depending on your specific model series.

For LB55**, LB56**-ZE / ZC, LB62**-ZA / ZB models:

1. Attach the Stand Base (Part A) to the Stand Base (Part B).

2. Secure the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. Use M4 x L14 screws. For 32-inch models in this series, use M4 x L20 screws.

For LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE models:

1. Attach the Stand Base (Part A) to the Stand Base (Part B).

2. Secure the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. Use M4 x L14 screws. For 32-inch models in this series, use M4 x L20 screws.

To connect your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV to a wall antenna socket, use a 75 Ω RF cable. Connect one end of the cable to the “ANTENNA/CABLE IN” port on the back of the TV and the other end to the wall antenna socket.

Please note the following:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than two TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, installing a signal amplifier may improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try realigning the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied with the TV.

If you have a satellite model of the LG 55LB5610-ZC TV, you can connect it to a satellite dish. Use a satellite RF cable (75 Ω) to connect the “LNB Satellite IN” port on the TV to the satellite socket from your satellite dish.

• Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded.

• Audio systems: Connect using the OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT port.

• USB storage devices: Connect to the USB IN port to view media files.

• Headphones: Connect to the H/P OUT port.

• CAM (Conditional Access Module): Insert into the PCMCIA CARD SLOT.

When connecting external devices:

• Connect them to the TV regardless of the port order.

• If recording a TV program on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recorder.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, adjust the PC output resolution, refresh rate, or adjust brightness and contrast on the TV’s PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

The Joystick button, located below the TV screen, allows you to operate basic TV functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, press the joystick button once and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release. If the Menu is on-screen, this action will exit the menu instead.

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick, be careful not to press it first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

To prevent scratches or damage and to ensure safe transportation, please follow this advice when lifting and moving your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may cause damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV by hand, hold it as shown in the manual’s illustration.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Securing the TV to a wall (This feature is not available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt positions, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Ensure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV. Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely. Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided.

To mount your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV on a wall, you will need an optional wall mount bracket that meets the VESA standard. LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer.

Before you begin:

• Disconnect the power first, then move or install the TV to avoid electric shock.

• Use an authorized LG wall mount and contact your local dealer or qualified personnel.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Damages or injuries from misuse are not covered by the warranty.

VESA Standards for Wall Mounting:

The remote control for your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV has several buttons to operate its functions. Point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. Do not mix old and new batteries.

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 55LB5610-ZC, go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This function will automatically find and store all available programmes.

• If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

• Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

• If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

The Picture Wizard III feature on your LG 55LB5610-ZC helps you calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality without expensive equipment. To use it, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III and follow the on-screen instructions.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or the programme, navigate to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode. The available modes are:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness for vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings to reduce power consumption (Depending on model).

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours like white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is an adjustment menu for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals. (ISF logo can only be used on ISF-certified TVs.) ISFccc stands for Imaging Science Foundation Certified Calibration Control.

Depending on the input signal, the available range of picture modes may differ. The Expert mode is intended for professional tuning and may not show dramatic effects on normal images.

To reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving. The available options are:

• Auto (Depending on model): The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off, and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

You can choose where the sound is output from your LG 55LB5610-ZC TV.

• To use the TV speakers: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound will be output through the TV’s speakers.

• To use an external speaker (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound will be output through a speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

• To use headphones: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound will be output through the headphone port.

• To connect and use an LG audio device (Optical): Connect an LG audio device to the optical digital audio output port. Then go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical).

SIMPLINK is a feature that allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices conveniently using the TV remote control. This function is only compatible with devices that have the SIMPLINK logo.

To set up SIMPLINK:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. For home theatre units with a SIMPLINK function, also use an optical cable to connect the Optical Digital Audio Out from the TV to the Optical Digital Audio In of the SIMPLINK device.

3. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

4. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

5. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Function Descriptions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it from the TV screen.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Selects the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV (Depending on model).

To safely remove a USB storage device from your LG 55LB5610-ZC, go to Q.MENU → USB Device. Select the USB storage device you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate the device from the TV. Once a USB device has been selected for removal, it can no longer be read until you remove it and reconnect it.

The My Media feature on your LG 55LB5610-ZC supports various file formats. The maximum data transfer rate is 20 Mbps.

Note: BMP and PNG format files may be slower to display than JPEG.

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if the batteries are still working and are properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

If you see no image and hear no sound, please check the following:
