When installing the LG 50UN7300PUF, adhere to the following safety measures:

Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Do not install the TV in a confined space such as a bookcase.

Do not install the product on a carpet or cushion.

Do not block or cover the product with cloth or other materials while the unit is plugged in.

Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.

Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

Do not place the TV on furniture that is unstable or not securely anchored.

To prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, follow these guidelines:

It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in.

Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grille area.

Use at least two people to move a large TV.

When transporting the TV by hand, hold the TV upright; never turn the TV on its side or tilt towards the left or right.

Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.

Do not apply excessive pressure to the front panel of the TV.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Do not place the TV near or above sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

Do not apply foreign substances (oils, lubricants, etc.) to the screw parts when assembling the product.

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts inserted at the eye-bolts position, remove the bolts first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

Note that brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided.

Make sure to use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. The standard dimensions for the wall mount kits for the 50UN73* series (which includes the LG 50UN7300PUF) are:

VESA (A x B): 200 x 200 mm

Standard Screw: M6

Number of Screws: 4

Wall Mount Bracket (Optional): LSW240B or MSW240

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to the watch TV while referring to the illustrations provided in the manual. Connect the RF cable to the designated port. Ensure you do not bend the copper wire of the RF cable. If using 2 TVs or more, use a signal splitter. Complete all connections between devices before connecting the power cord to the power outlet.

When connecting the HDMI cable, the product and external devices should be turned off and unplugged. Use a certified cable with the HDMI logo attached. If you do not use a certified HDMI cable, the screen may not display or a connection error may occur. Recommended HDMI cable types are Ultra High Speed HDMI cable (3 m or less).

Go to [Settings] -> [Picture] -> [Additional Settings] -> [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color].

On: Support 4K @ 50 / 60 Hz (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0).

Off: Support 4K @ 50 / 60 Hz (4:2:0).

If the device connected to the Input Port supports Ultra HD Deep Color, your picture may be clearer. However, if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, change the TV’s setting to Off.

You can operate the TV functions using the button located on the unit:

Power On: Press the button.

Power Off: Press and hold the button.

Menu Control: Press the button once while the TV is on to access and adjust the menu.

Menu Selection: Press and hold the button to select an option.

When the menu is active, pressing the button allows you to turn the power off, change the input source, adjust volume, or scroll through saved channels.

POWER: Turns the TV on or off.

TV: Returns to the last TV channel.

SEARCH: Checks for recommended content and shows search mode.

CC/SUB: Activates or deactivates subtitles.

Q. Settings (Gear icon): Accesses Quick Settings.

INPUT: Changes the input source.

Number buttons: Enters numbers.

9 (Long press): Accesses [Quick Help].

DASH (-): Inserts a dash between numbers (e.g., 2-1).

LIST: Accesses the saved channels list.

MORE ACTIONS (…): Displays more remote control functions.

0 (Long press): Edits QUICK ACCESS.

VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume level.

FAV: Accesses your favorite channel list.

GUIDE: Displays the program event according to time scheduler.

MUTE: Mutes all sounds. Long press accesses the [Accessibility] menu.

CH +/-: Scrolls through saved channels.

PAGE: Moves to the previous or next screen.

Streaming Service buttons: Connects to the Video Streaming Service.

HOME (House icon): Accesses the Home menu. Long press shows previous history.

BACK: Returns to the previous screen.

EXIT: Clears on-screen displays and returns to last input viewing.

Navigation buttons: Scrolls through menus or options.

OK (Center button): Selects menus or options and confirms input.

INFO: Shows information on the current program.

SAP: Enables SAP (Secondary Audio Program) Feature.

REC: Starts to record (Time Machine Ready supported models only).

Colored buttons: Access special functions in some menus.

To register: Put batteries into the Magic Remote and turn the TV on. Point the remote at the TV and press the Wheel (OK) button.

To deregister: Press the BACK and HOME buttons at the same time for five seconds to unpair the remote. Pressing and holding the GUIDE button for more than 5 seconds will disconnect and re-register the Magic Remote at the same time.

A network connection is required to use the voice recognition function. Check for recommended content (some services may not be available in all countries). Speak while pressing and holding the Voice Recognition button (microphone icon) to use the feature.

Unplug the power cord and wipe gently with a soft/dry cloth. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the TV. Do not use chemicals including glass cleaner, air freshener, insecticide, lubricants, wax, abrasive, thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc., which can damage the product and/or its panel. Ensure you wring any excess water or cleaner from the cloth before wiping. Wipe gently to avoid scratching.

Check if anything such as tape has been placed over the receiver. Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control. Replace the batteries with new fresh ones.

Check the power control settings; the power supply may be interrupted. Check if the auto-off function is activated in the settings menu. If there is no signal while the TV is on, the TV will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Connect the USB to Serial (RS-232C) converter/RS-232C (Serial) input jack to an external control device (such as a computer or A/V control system). Note that LG TV supports PL2303 chip-based USB to serial converters (Vendor ID: 0x0557, Product ID: 0x2008). The cable and converter are not provided.

You need to purchase a phone-jack to RS-232C cable required for the connection between the PC and the TV. The connection interface may differ depending on the model (connect to USB port or RS-232C IN port). Refer to the manual diagrams for 3-Wire Configurations.
