To attach the stand to your LG 47LB561B-ZC, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown may differ from your TV.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches.

2. Align the A Stand Base with the mounting points on the TV and attach it.

3. Align the B Stand Base with the A Stand Base and secure it.

4. Use the provided screws to fasten the stand to the TV. The screw type depends on the TV size:

– For 32LB55, 32LB56-ZE/ZC, 32LB62-ZA/ZB models: Use 4EA M4 x L20 screws.

– For other models in this series: Use 4EA M4 x L14 screws.

To attach the stand to your LG 47LB561B-ZC, follow these instructions. Always place the screen facing down on a cushioned surface to prevent scratches during assembly.

1. Attach the A Stand Base pieces to the left and right sides of the TV.

2. Attach the B Stand Base to the bottom of the TV, aligning it with the A Stand Base pieces.

3. Use the provided screws to secure the assembly. The screw type varies by TV size:

– For 32LB56-ZT/ZQ, 32LB62-ZE models: Use 4EA M4 x L20 screws.

– For other models in this series: Use 4EA M4 x L14 screws.

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω). The antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

Important Notes:

• To use more than 2 TVs, use a signal splitter.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier properly to improve the image quality.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• Supported DTV Audio formats are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

For satellite models only, connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket with a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The cable is not provided.

The Euro Scart connection transmits video and audio signals from an external device to the TV set. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable. Ensure any Euro Scart cable used is signal shielded.

The output type depends on the current input mode:

Note: When watching digital TV in 3D imaging mode (on 3D models only), only 2D out signals can be output through the SCART cable.

You can connect various external devices such as HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your TV.

• The external device connection may differ from the model.

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connect the TV signal input cable to the TV through a DVD recorder or VCR.

• Refer to the external equipment’s manual for operating instructions.

• If you connect a gaming device to the TV, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

• In PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

Please note the following advice to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to cause flexing or bending of the frame chassis as it may damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

CAUTION: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

This feature is not available for all models. To secure the TV:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the TV. If there are bolts already in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

NOTE:

• Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

• Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

CAUTION: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. Always leave at least 10 cm of space around the TV for ventilation.

CAUTION:

• Disconnect the power first, and then move or install the TV. Otherwise, an electric shock may occur.

• Do not overtighten the screws, as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

Make sure to use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. The required specifications are listed below:

Note: For 42LB55**, 42LB56**, and 42LB62** models, use the provided Wall Mount Spacers.

The joystick button is located below the TV screen and allows you to operate the TV functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, place your finger on the joystick button, press it for a few seconds, and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, this action will exit the menu instead).

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume level.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through the saved programmes.

NOTE: When you move the joystick up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press it. If you press the joystick button first, you cannot adjust the volume level or change saved programmes.

When the TV is on, press the joystick button one time. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

• TV off: Turns the power off.

• Settings: Accesses the main menu.

• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• Input List: Changes the input source.

Make sure to point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. Do not mix old and new batteries.

To automatically tune the programmes, go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This function automatically tunes the programmes.

• If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

• Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

• If Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

Depending on your model, you can use the Picture Wizard III to calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality. Navigate to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III. This feature allows you to adjust the picture using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices or specialist help.

Navigate to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode to select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme.

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness to display vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: (Depending on model) The Energy Saver feature changes settings on the TV to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: Menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To calibrate the screen for each picture mode or adjust picture settings, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Advanced Control / Expert Control. First, select a Picture Mode of your choice. The available options may include:

• Dynamic Contrast: Adjusts the contrast to the optimal level according to the image brightness.

• Dynamic Colour: Adjusts colours to make the image appear more natural.

• Skin Colour, Sky Colour, Grass Colour: Sets these color spectrums separately.

• Gamma: Sets the gradation curve according to the output of the picture signal.

• Colour Gamut: Selects the range of colours that can be expressed.

• Edge Enhancer: Shows clearer and distinctive yet natural edges of the video.

• Colour Filter: Filters a specific colour spectrum in RGB colours to fine-tune saturation and hue.

• Colour Temperature: Adjusts the overall tone of the screen.

• Colour Management System: A system for experts to adjust colour with a test pattern.

Navigate to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Picture Option to adjust detailed settings for images. Options may include:

• Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise in the picture.

• MPEG Noise Reduction: Eliminates noise generated while creating digital picture signals.

• Black Level: Adjusts the brightness and contrast of the screen to suit the black level of the input picture.

• Real Cinema: Optimizes the screen for movie viewing.

• Motion Eye Care/SUPER Energy Saving: (Depending on model) Saves power by adjusting brightness corresponding to the movement of the image.

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving to reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.

• Auto: (Depending on model) The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

You can choose the sound output source by navigating through the audio settings.

• To use TV speaker: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound is output through the TV speaker.

• To use External Speaker: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

• To connect and use an LG audio device: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device to the optical digital audio output port.

• To use Headphones: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound is output through the headphone port.

Navigate to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical) → Digital Sound Out. The settings depend on the audio input:

If video and audio are not matched, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → AV Sync. Adjust. If you set AV Sync. Adjust to ON, you can adjust the sound output (TV speakers or SPDIF) to the screen image.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote.

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal and the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set or change the TV password, go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To return to factory settings, navigate to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. All stored information will be deleted and TV settings will be reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset. Do not turn off the power during initialization. If the Lock System is in place, a pop-up window will appear and ask for the password.

Go to Q.MENU → USB Device. Select the USB storage device that you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate the device from the TV. Once a USB device has been selected for removal, it can no longer be read. Remove the USB storage device and then re-connect it if needed.

• If the USB storage device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and to extend the product lifespan.

CAUTION:

• Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first.

• When the TV is left unattended for a long time, disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet to prevent possible damage from lightning or power surges.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

• Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby (Depending on model) / Sleep Timer / Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

• Turn the TV off/on using the remote control.

• Reconnect the HDMI cable.

• Restart the PC with the TV on.

The following table lists the 3D video formats supported by your TV (for 3D models only). Video may not switch automatically to 3D for all content, requiring manual conversion.
