To prevent scratches, place the screen of your LG 47LB5610-ZC facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface before attaching the stand.

There are two types of stand assembly depending on your specific model series:

For models LB55**, LB56**-ZE / ZC, LB62**-ZA / ZB:

1. Attach the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base.

2. Secure the stand assembly to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. You will need 4 screws (4EA). For 32-inch models, use M4 x L20 screws. For other sizes, M4 x L14 screws may be required.

For models LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE:

1. Attach the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base.

2. Secure the stand assembly to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. You will need 4 screws (4EA). For 32-inch models, use M4 x L20 screws. For other sizes, M4 x L14 screws may be required.

Connect the LG 47LB5610-ZC to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω). The connection port is labeled ANTENNA/CABLE IN on the back of the TV.

Notes:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier correctly to improve the image quality.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied with the TV.

• Supported DTV Audio formats are: MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

To connect a satellite dish to your LG 47LB5610-ZC, use a satellite RF cable (75 Ω) to connect the satellite dish to the satellite socket on the TV. The port is labeled LNB Satellite IN.

The Euro Scart connection transmits video and audio signals from an external device to your LG 47LB5610-ZC. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable. The port is labeled AV1.

Notes:

• Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded.

• For 3D models, when watching digital TV in 3D imaging mode, only 2D out signals can be output through the SCART cable.

The output type from the AV1 (TV Out) port depends on the current input mode:

You can connect various external devices like HD receivers, DVD/Blu-ray players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your LG 47LB5610-ZC. For the best picture and audio quality, it is recommended to use an HDMI cable.

Connection options include:

• HDMI IN: For devices like DVD/Blu-Ray players, HD Cable Boxes, HD STB, or PCs. Some models have an HDMI IN port that also supports MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link).

• USB IN: For USB storage devices like a USB flash drive or an external HDD.

• COMPONENT IN: For devices with component video output (Y, PB, PR) and audio output (L/R).

• AV IN: For devices with composite video (Yellow) and audio (Red/White) output, such as a VCR.

• OPTICAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: To connect to a digital audio system.

• LAN: For a wired network connection (only on LAN port models).

• H/P OUT (Headphone Out): To connect headphones.

• PCMCIA CARD SLOT: For a CI Module.

General Connection Notes:

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, make sure to connect the TV signal input cable to the TV through the DVD recorder or VCR.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

The Joystick button is located below the TV screen and allows you to operate TV functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, press the joystick button once and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release it. (If the Menu is on screen, pressing and holding the button will exit the Menu.)

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through the saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press it first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or channels.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

To prevent scratches or damage, please follow this advice when lifting or moving your LG 47LB5610-ZC:

• Always avoid touching the screen, as this may cause damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• Do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration during transport.

• Keep the TV upright during transport; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to the frame chassis, as this may cause flexing/bending and damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

To secure your LG 47LB5610-ZC to a wall (this feature is not available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Note: Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely. Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. You must use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard.

Installation Steps:

1. Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV carefully.

2. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

Caution:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV.

• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

• Do not over-tighten the screws as this may cause damage to the TV and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries by misuse or using an improper accessory are not covered by the warranty.

Wall Mount Bracket Specifications (Separate Purchase):

Note: For models 42LB55**, 42LB56**, 42LB62**, Wall Mount Spacers may be required.

Make sure to point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. To replace batteries, open the battery cover, replace batteries (1.5 V AAA) matching the correct polarity, and close the cover.

When connecting a PC, use the HDMI IN 1 port.
