When using the LG 43UN6951ZUA, protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not move the TV whilst the power cord is plugged in. Do not use a damaged or loosely fitting power cord. Be sure to grasp the plug when unplugging the power cord; do not pull on the power cord to unplug the TV. Do not touch the end of the power cord while it is plugged in, as you may be electrocuted.

When cleaning the LG 43UN6951ZUA, unplug the power cord and wipe gently with a soft/dry cloth. Do not spray water or other liquids directly on the TV. Do not clean your TV with chemicals including glass cleaner, any type of air freshener, insecticide, lubricants, wax (car, industrial), abrasive, thinner, benzene, alcohol, etc., which can damage the product and/or its panel. When moving or lifting the LG 43UN6951ZUA, read the following to prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation regardless of its type and size:

It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in.

Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grille area.

Use at least two people to move a large TV.

When transporting the TV by hand, hold the TV upright; never turn the TV on its side or tilt towards the left or right.

When handling the TV, be careful not to damage the protruding buttons.

Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen.

Do not place the product on the floor with its front facing down without padding. Failure to do so may result in damage to the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the LG 43UN6951ZUA into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm (4 inches) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Note: Do not apply foreign substances (oils, lubricants, etc.) to the screw parts when assembling the product.

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts on the back of the LG 43UN6951ZUA. If there are bolts inserted at the eye-bolts position, remove the bolts first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

Depending on the specific model variation within the series, utilize the following table to determine the correct Wall Mount Bracket for the LG 43UN6951ZUA:

Connect an antenna, cable, or cable box to the LG 43UN6951ZUA to watch TV. Make sure not to bend the copper wire of the RF cable. Complete all connections between devices, and then connect the power cord to the power outlet to prevent damage to your TV. Use a signal splitter to use 2 TVs or more. Note that this TV cannot receive ULTRA HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) broadcasts directly because the related standards have not been confirmed.

When connecting the HDMI cable to the LG 43UN6951ZUA, the product and external devices should be turned off and unplugged. Use a certified cable with the HDMI logo attached. If you do not use a certified HDMI cable, the screen may not display or a connection error may occur.

Recommended HDMI cable types (3 m (9.84 feet) or less): Ultra High Speed HDMI cable.

To adjust HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color settings: Go to [Picture] -> [Additional Settings] -> [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color].

On: Support 4K @ 50/60 Hz (4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:2:0)

Off: Support 4K @ 50/60 Hz (4:2:0)

You can simply operate the LG 43UN6951ZUA functions using the button located on the unit.

Power On (Press)

Power Off (Press and Hold): All running apps will close.

Menu Control (Press): You can access and adjust the menu by pressing the button when TV is on.

Menu Selection (Press and Hold): You can use the function when you access menu control.

When the TV is turned on, press the button one time to adjust the Menu items. You can turn the power off, change the input source, adjust the volume level, or scroll through saved channels.

The remote control for the LG 43UN6951ZUA includes the following functions (depending on the model):

BACK: Returns to the previous screen.

EXIT: Clears on-screen displays and returns to last input viewing.

Navigation buttons: Scrolls through menus or options.

OK: Selects menus or options and confirms your input.

INFO: Shows information on the current program.

SAP: Enables SAP (Secondary Audio Program) Feature.

REC: Starts to record (Only Time Machine Ready supported model).

Control buttons: Control buttons for media contents.

Colored buttons: These access special functions in some menus.

To use the Magic Remote with the LG 43UN6951ZUA, first pair it with your TV:

1. Put batteries into the Magic Remote and turn the TV on.

2. Point the Magic Remote at your TV and press the Wheel (OK) on the remote control.

If the TV fails to register the Magic Remote, try again after turning the TV off and back on.

Press the BACK and HOME buttons at the same time, for five seconds, to unpair the Magic Remote with your LG 43UN6951ZUA. Pressing and holding the GUIDE button for more than 5 seconds will disconnect and re-register the Magic Remote at the same time.

If you cannot control the LG 43UN6951ZUA with the remote:

Check if anything such as tape has been placed over the receiver.

Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

Replace the batteries with new fresh ones.

If there is no image or sound produced by the LG 43UN6951ZUA:

RS-232C(Serial) With RS-232C(Serial) Cable: Use a DE9 (D-Sub 9pin) Type. You need to purchase the RS-232C (DE9, D-Sub 9pin female-to-female type) to RS-232C(Serial) cable required for the connection between the PC and the TV.

Phone jack Type: You need to purchase the phone-jack to RS-232 cable required for the connection between the PC and the TV.
