To attach the stand to your LG 32LB565U-ZQ TV set, follow these steps:

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Assemble the two parts of the stand, the A Stand Base and the B Stand Base.

3. Attach the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV set.

4. Secure the stand to the TV using the provided screws. For the 32-inch model, you should use four M4 x L20 screws.

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω).

NOTE:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier to improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

• Supported DTV Audio formats include MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

To connect your LG 32LB565U-ZQ to a satellite dish, use a satellite RF cable (75 Ω) to connect the “LNB Satellite IN” port on the TV to the satellite socket from your dish.

Connect your external device to the TV using a Euro Scart cable to transmit both video and audio signals. Any Euro Scart cable used must be signal shielded.

• If recording a TV program on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recording device.

• For gaming devices, use the cable supplied with the gaming device.

• In PC mode, if you experience noise related to resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness, try changing the PC output to another resolution, adjusting the refresh rate, or modifying the brightness and contrast in the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear. Note that some resolution settings may not work correctly depending on your graphics card.

The Joystick button, located below the TV screen, allows you to operate basic TV functions.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, press the joystick button once and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release. If the Menu is on-screen, this action will exit the menu instead.

• Volume Control: Move the joystick left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick up, down, left, or right, be careful not to press it in first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or changing programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

• TV off: Turns the power off.

• Settings: Accesses the main menu.

• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.

• Input List: Changes the input source.

To prevent your LG 32LB565U-ZQ from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may cause damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

You can adjust the picture settings on your LG 32LB565U-ZQ using several features:

• Picture Wizard III: Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III. This feature calibrates and adjusts for optimum picture quality using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices.

• Advanced Control / Expert Control: Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode → Advanced Control / Expert Control. This allows you to calibrate the screen for each picture mode with options like Dynamic Contrast, Dynamic Colour, Gamma, Colour Gamut, Edge Enhancer, and more.

To reduce power consumption, you can use the Energy Saving feature by navigating to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving. This feature reduces power consumption by adjusting screen brightness.

• Auto: The TV sensor detects ambient lighting and automatically adjusts screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies pre-set Energy Saving modes.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off and only sound is played. Press any button (except the Power button) on the remote to turn the screen back on.

You can manage your audio output through the settings menu:

• TV Speaker: To use the TV’s internal speakers, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker.

• External Speaker (Optical): To output sound through an external speaker connected to the optical port, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). This option supports SIMPLINK.

• LG Sound Sync (Optical): To connect an LG audio device, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). This allows you to enjoy rich, powerful sound.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote via the SIMPLINK menu.

1. Connect your SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output to the TV’s HDMI IN terminal with a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device to control it from the TV screen.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the SIMPLINK-enabled equipment starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set or change the TV password, go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To reset your TV to its factory settings, go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. This will delete all stored information and reset all TV settings. The TV will turn itself off and back on to complete the process. Do not turn off the power during initialization. If the Lock System is active, a pop-up window will ask for the password.

Before using a USB storage device, please note the following:

• If the USB device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

To remove a USB device, go to Q.MENU → USB Device and select the device you want to remove. Once the confirmation message appears, you can safely separate the device from the TV.

If you cannot control the TV with the remote, try the following solutions:

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed.

If there is no image or sound, follow these steps:

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.

If your TV turns off suddenly, check the following:

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby, Sleep Timer, or Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

If you see a ‘No signal’ or ‘Invalid Format’ message, try these steps:

• Turn the TV off and on using the remote control.

• Reconnect the HDMI cable.

• Restart the PC with the TV on.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and extend its lifespan. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet, and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object, as this may result in scratches and image distortions.

• Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.
