To attach the stand to your LG 32LB563V-ZT, place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches. The assembly process varies slightly depending on your specific model series.

For LB55**, LB56**-ZE / ZC, LB62**-ZA / ZB models:

1. Attach the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base.

2. Secure the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. For 32-inch models (32LB55**, 32LB56**-ZE/ZC, 32LB62**-ZA/ZB), use four M4 x L20 screws. For other sizes, use four M4 x L14 screws.

For LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE models:

1. Attach the A Stand Base to the B Stand Base.

2. Secure the assembled stand to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws. For 32-inch models (32LB56**-ZT/ZQ, 32LB62**-ZE), use four M4 x L20 screws. For other sizes, use four M4 x L14 screws.

Connect your LG 32LB563V-ZT to a wall antenna socket using a 75 Ω RF cable. The antenna cable and converter are not provided.

Tips for better reception:

• If you plan to use more than two TVs, use a signal splitter.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier correctly to improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with a connected antenna, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

The supported DTV Audio formats are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

For satellite models of the LG 32LB563V-ZT, connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω). The cable is not provided.

The Euro Scart connection on your LG 32LB563V-ZT transmits video and audio signals from an external device. Connect the external device and the TV with a Euro Scart cable. Ensure that any Euro Scart cable you use is signal shielded.

Note: For 3D models, when watching digital TV in 3D imaging mode, only 2D output signals can be sent through the SCART cable.

The Joystick button, located below the TV screen, allows you to operate basic TV functions by pressing or moving it up, down, left, or right.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button, press it once, and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, press and hold the joystick button for a few seconds and release. (If the Menu is on-screen, this action will exit the Menu).

• Volume Control: Move the joystick button left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick button up or down to scroll through saved programmes.

Adjusting the Menu:

When the TV is on, press the joystick button once to bring up the menu. You can then adjust menu items by moving the joystick up, down, left, or right.

• TV off: Turns the power off.
• Settings: Accesses the main menu.
• Close: Clears on-screen displays and returns to TV viewing.
• Input List: Changes the input source.

Important: When moving the joystick, be careful not to press it first. If you press it first, you will not be able to adjust the volume level or saved programmes by moving it.

To prevent scratches or damage and to ensure safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may cause damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in its original box or packing material.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to prevent damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, at least two people are required.

• During transport, do not expose the TV to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

• Do not apply excessive pressure that could cause the frame chassis to flex or bend, as this may damage the screen.

Mounting on a table:

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a minimum of 10 cm of space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

Securing the TV to a wall (This feature may not be available for all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with the bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Note:

• Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

• Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

• Ensure children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

LG recommends that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer. You must use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard.

Steps and Precautions:

1. Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV to avoid electric shock.

2. Attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV carefully.

3. Install the wall mount bracket on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor.

4. Use an authorized LG wall mount. If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury.

5. Do not over-tighten the screws, as this can damage the TV and void your warranty.

6. Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Damages or injuries from misuse are not covered by the warranty.

VESA Standards for Wall Mounting Brackets (Separate Purchase):

Note: The length of screws may differ depending on the wall mount. Ensure you use the proper length. Refer to the manual supplied with the wall mount for more information.

The remote control for your LG 32LB563V-ZT has various buttons to operate the TV. The layout may differ slightly between LB55**/LB56** models and LB62** models.

Picture Wizard III allows you to calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices. To access it, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode.

Available Picture Modes:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness for vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies and games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is the adjustment menu provided for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To further customize, select a Picture Mode and then go to Advanced Control / Expert Control to adjust settings like Dynamic Contrast, Dynamic Colour, Gamma, Colour Gamut, and more.

You can choose where the sound is output from your LG 32LB563V-ZT.

• To use the TV speaker: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound will be output through the TV’s internal speakers.

• To use an External Speaker (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound will be output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported. You can further configure the Digital Sound Out settings in this menu.

• To use a Headphone: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound will be output through the device connected to the headphone port.

• To use an LG audio device (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device with the Sound Sync logo to the optical digital audio output port.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices conveniently via the SIMPLINK menu using your TV remote. This function is only compatible with devices bearing the SIMPLINK logo.

Setup Steps:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. For home theatre units with a SIMPLINK function, also use an optical cable to connect the Optical Digital Audio Out from the TV to the Optical Digital Audio In of the SIMPLINK device.

3. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

4. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

5. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device to control it from the TV screen.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the SIMPLINK-connected equipment starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker either on the home theatre unit or the TV.

To safely remove a USB device:

Go to Q.MENU → USB Device. Select the USB storage device you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can safely separate it from the TV.

Important warnings for using USB storage devices:

• Some USB devices with built-in auto recognition programs or their own drivers may not work.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn its power off and on.

• Data on the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

Viewing Environment and Time:

• Take 5-15 minute breaks every hour when watching 3D content. Viewing for long periods may cause headaches, dizziness, fatigue, or eye strain.

• Maintain a viewing distance of at least twice the screen’s diagonal length. If you feel discomfort, move further away from the TV.

Photosensitive Seizure or Chronic Illness:

• Some users may experience seizures or other abnormal symptoms when exposed to flashing lights or patterns from 3D content.

• Do not watch 3D videos if you feel nausea, are pregnant, or have a chronic illness such as epilepsy, cardiac disorder, or blood pressure disease.

• 3D content is not recommended for those who suffer from stereo blindness or stereo anomaly.

• If your eyesight varies between your right and left eye, have your eyesight checked prior to watching 3D content.

Symptoms requiring discontinuation of 3D viewing:

• Stop watching 3D content if you experience fatigue, headache, eyeball pain, dizziness, nausea, palpitation, blurriness, discomfort, double images, or visual inconvenience. Rest until the symptom subsides and consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

• Make sure to use LG 3D glasses. Otherwise, you may not be able to view 3D videos properly.

• Do not use 3D glasses instead of your normal glasses, sunglasses, or protective goggles.

• Do not keep your 3D glasses in extremely high or low temperatures, as it will cause deformation.

• The 3D glasses are fragile and easily scratched. Always use a soft, clean piece of cloth when wiping the lenses. Do not scratch the lenses with sharp objects or clean them with chemicals.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and extend its lifespan. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect all cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet, and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

Cleaning Cautions:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

• Do not use any chemicals, as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.
