To attach the stand to your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV, first place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect it from scratches. – For other models: Use screws as specified in the manual.

For LB56**-ZT / ZQ, LB62**-ZE models:

1. Assemble the A Stand Base and B Stand Base parts.

2. Align the stand with the TV and fasten the screws.

– For 32-inch models: Use 4 screws (M4 x L20).

– For other models: Use 4 screws (M4 x L14).

Connect your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV to a wall antenna socket using an RF cable (75 Ω). The antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

Tips for better reception:

• If you want to use more than 2 TVs, use a signal splitter.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier properly to improve the quality.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

The supported DTV Audio formats are MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

If your LG 32LB5610-ZC model supports satellite, connect the TV to a satellite dish to a satellite socket using a satellite RF cable (75 Ω).

To transmit video and audio signals from an external device, connect the device to your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV using a signal-shielded Euro Scart cable. The output type depends on the current input mode:

Note: If your TV is a 3D model, when watching digital TV in 3D imaging mode, only 2D out signals can be output through the SCART cable.

When connecting external devices like HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, or gaming devices to your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV, please note the following:

• The external device connection may differ from the model.

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recorder or VCR.

• Refer to the external equipment’s manual for operating instructions.

• If you connect a gaming device, use the cable supplied with it.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

You can operate your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen.

Basic Functions:

• Power On: When the TV is off, place your finger on the joystick button and press it once and release it.

• Power Off: When the TV is on, place your finger on the joystick button and press it for a few seconds and release it. (If the Menu button is on the screen, pressing and holding the button will exit the Menu.)

• Volume Control: Move the joystick button left or right to adjust the volume.

• Programmes Control: Move the joystick button up or down to scroll through the saved programmes.

Note: When moving the joystick, be careful not to press it first, as this will prevent you from adjusting the volume or programmes.

When the TV is turned on, press the joystick button once. You can then adjust the menu items by moving the joystick button up, down, left, or right.

To prevent scratches or damage and ensure safe transportation, please follow these guidelines when lifting and moving your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, at least 2 people should be involved.

• When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it left or right.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to the frame chassis, as this may cause flexing or bending and damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

CAUTION: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

To secure your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV to a wall (a feature not available on all models):

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket with the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

CAUTION: Make sure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

NOTE: Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely. Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided; you can obtain these from your local dealer.

To mount your LG 32LB5610-ZC TV, attach an optional wall mount bracket to the rear of the TV and install it on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. LG recommends this be done by a qualified professional installer. Use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard.

CAUTION:

• Disconnect the power first before moving or installing the TV to avoid electric shock.

• Using an authorized LG wall mount is recommended. Installing on a ceiling or slanted wall may cause it to fall, resulting in severe injury.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Damage from misuse or improper accessories is not covered by the warranty.

VESA Standards for Wall Mounting:

Here are the functions of the buttons on the remote control for the LB56** series of the LG 32LB5610-ZC TV. Always point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV.

To automatically tune the programmes on your LG 32LB5610-ZC, go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This feature automatically finds and stores programmes.

• If the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

• Auto Tuning only finds programmes that are currently broadcasting.

• If the Lock System is turned on, a pop-up window will appear asking for a password.

You can calibrate and adjust for optimum picture quality using the Picture Wizard feature. Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III. This tool helps you adjust the picture using the remote control without needing expensive pattern devices or specialist help.

To select a picture mode optimized for your viewing environment or the programme, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode. The available modes are:

• Vivid: Heightens contrast, brightness, and sharpness for vivid images.

• Standard: Displays images in standard levels of contrast, brightness, and sharpness.

• Eco/APS: The Energy Saver feature changes settings to reduce power consumption.

• Cinema/Game: Displays the optimum picture for movies or games.

• Sports: Optimizes the video image for high and dynamic actions by emphasizing primary colours such as white, grass, or sky blue.

• Expert 1, 2: A menu for adjusting picture quality that allows experts and amateurs to enjoy the best TV viewing. This is for ISF-certified picture tuning professionals.

To reduce power consumption by adjusting screen brightness, go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving.

• Auto: The TV sensor detects the ambient lighting and automatically adjusts the screen brightness.

• Off: Turns off the Energy Saving mode.

• Minimum / Medium / Maximum: Applies the pre-set Energy Saving mode.

• Screen Off: The screen is turned off, and only sound is played. Press any button except the Power button on the remote control to turn the screen back on.

You can choose where the sound is output from your LG 32LB5610-ZC:

• To use the TV speaker: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound is output through the TV speaker.

• To use an External Speaker (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

• To use a Headphone: Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound is output through the headphone connected to the earphone/headphone port.

• To use an LG audio device (Optical): Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device to the optical digital audio output port for rich, powerful sound.

If the video and audio are not synchronized, go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → AV Sync. Adjust. If you set AV Sync. Adjust to ON, you can adjust the sound output (from TV speakers or SPDIF) to match the screen image.

SIMPLINK allows you to control and manage various multimedia devices with your TV remote via the SIMPLINK menu.

Setup Steps:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal with a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK Functions:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device to control it from the TV screen.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select the speaker on either the home theatre unit or the TV.

To set or change the TV password, go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. The initial password is set to ‘0000’.

To delete all stored information and reset TV settings, go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. The TV will turn itself off and back on, and all settings will be reset.

Note:

• If the Lock System is in place, a pop-up window will appear asking for the password.

• Do not turn off the power during initialization.

Go to Q.MENU → USB Device. Select the USB storage device that you want to remove. When you see a message that the USB device has been removed, you can separate the device from the TV. Once a USB device has been selected for removal, it can no longer be read. To use it again, you must remove the USB storage device and then re-connect it.

• If the USB device has a built-in auto recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Some USB devices may not work or may work incorrectly.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on. For more information, refer to the user manual of the USB HDD.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

Clean your TV regularly to keep it in the best condition. First, make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables.

Screen, frame, cabinet, and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

CAUTION:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may damage it.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

• Do not use any chemicals (glass cleaner, abrasives, wax, benzene, alcohol, etc.) as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

• Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.

• Check the remote control sensor on the product and try again.

• Check if there is any obstacle between the product and the remote control.

• Check if the batteries are still working and properly installed (positive to positive, negative to negative).

• Check if the product is turned on.

• Check if the power cord is connected to a wall outlet.

• Check if there is a problem in the wall outlet by connecting other products.

• Check the power control settings. The power supply may be interrupted.

• Check if the Automatic Standby / Sleep Timer / Off Time feature is activated in the TIME settings.

• If there is no signal while the TV is on, it will turn off automatically after 15 minutes of inactivity.

• Turn the TV off and on again using the remote control.

• Reconnect the HDMI cable.

• Restart the PC with the TV on.
