To attach the stand to your LG 32LB551V-ZC, please follow these steps. Note that the image shown in the manual may differ from your TV model.

1. Place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches.

2. Assemble the stand parts. Depending on your specific model (LB55**, LB56**-ZE/ZC, LB62**-ZA/ZB or LB56**-ZT/ZQ, LB62**-ZE), you will attach the ‘A Stand Base’ to the ‘B Stand Base’.

3. Align the assembled stand with the mounting holes on the bottom of the TV.

4. Insert and tighten the provided screws to secure the stand to the TV. You will typically use four screws (M4 x L14 or M4 x L20, depending on the model).

Connect the TV to a wall antenna socket with an RF cable (75 Ω).

NOTE:

• Use a signal splitter if you need to connect more than 2 TVs.

• If the image quality is poor, install a signal amplifier properly to improve it.

• If the image quality is poor with an antenna connected, try to realign the antenna in the correct direction.

• An antenna cable and converter are not supplied.

• Supported DTV Audio includes MPEG, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and HE-AAC.

You can connect various external devices such as HD receivers, DVD players, VCRs, audio systems, USB storage devices, PCs, and gaming devices to your LG 32LB551V-ZC.

• For the best picture and audio quality, it is recommended to connect the external device and the TV with an HDMI cable.

• Connect external devices to the TV regardless of the order of the TV port.

• If you record a TV programme on a DVD recorder or VCR, ensure the TV signal input cable is connected to the TV through the recorder or VCR.

• Refer to the external equipment’s manual for operating instructions.

• When connecting a gaming device, use the cable supplied with it.

• In PC mode, noise may be associated with resolution, vertical pattern, contrast, or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate, or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear.

• In PC mode, some resolution settings may not work properly depending on the graphics card.

You can operate the TV functions by pressing or moving the joystick button located below the TV screen.

Basic Functions

Adjusting the Menu

When the TV is turned on, press the joystick button once. You can adjust the Menu items by moving the joystick button up, down, left, or right.

To prevent the TV from being scratched or damaged and for safe transportation, please follow this advice:

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that it originally came in.

• Before moving or lifting, disconnect the power cord and all cables.

• When holding the TV, the screen should face away from you to avoid damage.

• Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Do not hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.

• When transporting a large TV, there should be at least 2 people.

• When transporting the TV, do not expose it to jolts or excessive vibration.

• Keep the TV upright; never turn it on its side or tilt it.

• Do not apply excessive pressure to cause flexing or bending of the frame chassis, as it may damage the screen.

1. Lift and tilt the TV into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the power cord to a wall outlet.

Caution: Do not place the TV near or on sources of heat, as this may result in fire or other damage.

This feature is not available for all models. To secure the TV to a wall:

1. Insert and tighten the eye-bolts, or TV brackets and bolts, on the back of the TV. If there are already bolts in the eye-bolt position, remove them first.

2. Mount the wall brackets with bolts to the wall. Match the location of the wall bracket and the eye-bolts on the rear of the TV.

3. Connect the eye-bolts and wall brackets tightly with a sturdy rope. Make sure to keep the rope horizontal with the flat surface.

Caution: Ensure that children do not climb on or hang on the TV.

Note:

• Use a platform or cabinet that is strong and large enough to support the TV securely.

• Brackets, bolts, and ropes are not provided. You can obtain additional accessories from your local dealer.

To wall mount your LG 32LB551V-ZC, make sure to use screws and a wall mount bracket that meet the VESA standard. It is recommended that wall mounting be performed by a qualified professional installer.

CAUTION:

• Disconnect the power first, then move or install the TV to avoid electric shock.

• If you install the TV on a ceiling or slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe injury. Use an authorized LG wall mount.

• Do not over-tighten the screws, as this may cause damage and void your warranty.

• Use screws and wall mounts that meet the VESA standard. Any damages or injuries from misuse are not covered by the warranty.

Wall Mounting Bracket Specifications (Separate purchase):

The remote control allows you to operate your TV. Ensure you point the remote control toward the remote control sensor on the TV. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Remote Control Functions (for LB55**, LB56** models):

Note: The remote for LB62** models also includes a 3D button for viewing 3D video.

You can configure various settings on your LG 32LB551V-ZC through the main menu.

Automatically Setting Up Programme

Go to SETTINGS → SETUP → Auto Tuning. This automatically tunes the programmes. Note that if the Input Source is not connected properly, programme registration may not work.

To adjust picture with Picture Wizard

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Wizard III. This calibrates and adjusts for optimum picture quality using the remote control without expensive devices.

To select Picture Mode

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Picture Mode. Select the mode optimized for your viewing environment or programme (e.g., Vivid, Standard, Eco, Cinema/Game, Sports, Expert).

To use Energy Saving feature

Go to SETTINGS → PICTURE → Energy Saving. This reduces power consumption by adjusting screen brightness. Options include Auto, Off, Minimum, Medium, Maximum, and Screen Off.

To set password

Go to SETTINGS → LOCK → Set Password. This sets or changes the TV password. The initial password is ‘0000’.

To return to Factory Reset

Go to SETTINGS → OPTION → Factory Reset. This deletes all stored information and resets TV settings.

You can choose different audio output options for your LG 32LB551V-ZC.

To use TV speaker

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → TV Speaker. Sound is output through the TV speaker.

To use External Speaker (Optical)

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical). Sound is output through the speaker connected to the optical port. SimpLink is supported.

To use LG audio device

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → LG Sound Sync (Optical). Connect an LG audio device to the optical digital audio output port for rich, powerful sound.

To use Headphone

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → Headphone. Sound is output through the headphone port.

To use Digital Sound Out

Go to SETTINGS → AUDIO → Sound Out → External Speaker (Optical) → Digital Sound Out. This sets up the Digital Sound Out settings.

SIMPLINK is a feature that enables you to control and manage various multimedia devices conveniently via the SIMPLINK menu using the TV remote.

To use SIMPLINK:

1. Connect the TV’s HDMI IN terminal to the SIMPLINK device’s HDMI output terminal using a high-speed HDMI® cable (with CEC feature added).

2. Select INPUT(OPTION) → SIMPLINK. The SIMPLINK menu window will appear.

3. In the SIMPLINK Setting window, set the SIMPLINK function to ON.

4. In the SIMPLINK menu window, select the device you want to control.

SIMPLINK function description:

• Direct Play: Plays the multimedia device on the TV instantly.

• Select multimedia device: Selects the desired device via the SIMPLINK menu to control it from the TV screen.

• Disc playback: Manages the multimedia device with the TV remote control.

• Power off all devices: When you power off the TV, all connected devices are turned off.

• Sync Power on: When the equipment with SIMPLINK function connected to the HDMI terminal starts to play, the TV will automatically turn on.

• Speaker: Select speaker either on the home theatre unit or the TV.

When using a USB storage device with your TV, please be aware of the following:

• If the USB storage device has a built-in auto-recognition program or uses its own driver, it may not work.

• Some USB storage devices may not work or may work incorrectly.

• Use only USB storage devices formatted with the Windows FAT32 or NTFS File System.

• For external USB HDDs, it is recommended to use devices with a rated voltage of less than 5 V and a rated current of less than 500 mA.

• It is recommended to use USB memory sticks of 32 GB or less and USB HDDs of 1 TB or less.

• If a USB HDD with a power-saving function does not work properly, turn the power off and on. Refer to the user manual of the USB HDD for more information.

• Data in the USB storage device can be damaged, so be sure to back up important files to other devices. Data maintenance is the user’s responsibility.

To remove a USB device, go to Q.MENU → USB Device, select the device, and when you see the removal message, separate the device from the TV.

Clean your TV regularly to keep the best performance and to extend the product lifespan.

CAUTION: Make sure to turn the power off and disconnect the power cord and all other cables first. When the TV is left unattended for a long time, disconnect the power cord to prevent possible damage.

Screen, frame, cabinet and stand:

• To remove dust or light dirt, wipe the surface with a dry, clean, and soft cloth.

• To remove major dirt, wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened in clean water or a diluted mild detergent. Then wipe immediately with a dry cloth.

• Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage.

• Do not push, rub, or hit the screen surface with your fingernail or a sharp object.

• Do not use any chemicals as this may damage the product.

• Do not spray liquid onto the surface. If water enters the TV, it may result in fire, electric shock, or malfunction.

Power cord:

Remove the accumulated dust or dirt on the power cord regularly.
