It is recommended to use the KLIK KCMPH2DL multiport adapter with your computer’s power supply connected to the USB-C Power Port. This will provide power to the multiport adapter while also providing power to charge your computer.

First, connect the multiport adapter to your computer by plugging the built-in USB-C male cable into a USB-C port on your computer. Then, connect your computer’s power supply to the USB-C Power Port on the adapter. This adapter supports up to 100W of power pass through.

For older laptops without a USB-C port, you can use the included USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect the adapter to a USB-A port on your computer. Please note that this must be a 5Gbps USB 3.0 port, and power pass through is not supported when using a computer’s USB-A port.


How do I connect external monitors to my KLIK KCMPH2DL?

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

5. Make sure your external monitors are connected to the multiport adapter via an HDMI cable.

6. From the Notification Center (normally top right on your Mac), start the DisplayLink Manager for the first time by clicking its icon. The DisplayLink Manager can also be found in the Applications folder.

7. When you run the DisplayLink manager for the first time, a “Screen Recording” permission box will appear. This is a necessary function for DisplayLink. To proceed, click “Open System Preferences”.

8. In the “Security & Privacy” window, navigate to the Privacy tab and select “Screen Recording” from the list on the left. If the lock in the bottom left corner is locked, click it to unlock. Then, check the box next to the DisplayLink Manager to enable Screen Recording.

9. A message will appear stating that “DisplayLink Manager” will not be able to record the contents of your screen until it is quit. Click the “Quit & Reopen” button. Your external monitors should now start working.

10. To make DisplayLink run automatically at startup, open the DisplayLink Manager app from the Notification Centre or Application folder and check the “Automatic startup” box.
