Turning the power ON

Press and hold the Power/End key for more than one second.

Turning the power OFF

Press and hold the Power/End key for more than one second.

You can set the phone to display the date and time on the stand-by screen. When this setting is enabled, the W11H will receive current date and time information for the local service area, and the date and time will be updated accordingly.

From the stand-by screen: press the Center key → press the Cursor key (right) → press the 7 key → press the 1 key → press the 1 key.

From the stand-by screen: press the Center key → press the 0 key.

Making a Call

From the stand-by screen: enter the phone number you want to call → press the Send/Receive key.

To end the call: press the Power/End key or fold the phone.

Answering a Call

Press the Send/Receive key while the phone is ringing.

To adjust the receiver volume during a call: press the up or down Cursor key.

1. From the stand-by screen: press the Cursor key (down) for more than one second.

2. Press the Cursor key (down) to select the item you want to store → press the Center key [選択](Select).

3. Enter the data → press the Center key [登録](Register).

To change character entry mode into English entry mode, press the [あ] key in the character entry display.

1. From the stand-by screen: press the Cursor key (down) to display the Gyo (hiragana row) Search screen.

2. Press the Cursor key to select the hiragana row under which the entry is stored.

3. Press the Cursor key (down) to select the appropriate name.

4. Press the Center key [選択](Select) to display the Phone Book Entry details screen.

Before using the E-mail and EZweb services, you must set the default settings.

From the stand-by screen: press the Mail key or the EZ key → Check the message and press the Center key [OK] → Check the E-mail address and press the Center key [OK].

E-mail

If you subscribed to the E-mail service when you purchased W11H, you will be able to use the E-mail service immediately. Make sure that you set the default settings before using the E-mail and EZweb services for the first time.

Sending an E-mail Message

From the stand-by screen: press the Mail key → press the 1 key → select the input field and press the Center key [編集](Edit) → enter the recipient’s address → press the Center key [登録](Register) → select the input field and press the Center key [編集](Edit) → enter the subject → press the Center key [登録](Register) → select the input field and press the Center key [編集](Edit) → enter your message → press the Center key [登録](Register) → press the Center key [送信](Send) → press the Send/Receive key.

Reading a Received E-mail Message

When you receive an E-mail message, a notification will be displayed on the stand-by screen. From the stand-by screen: press the Center key [OK] → press the Cursor key (down) to select [メインフォルダ](Main folder) → press the Center key [表示](Display) → press the Cursor key (down) to select the e-mail message you want to read → press the Center key [表示](Display).

C-mail

Sending a C-mail Message

From the stand-by screen: press and hold the Mail key for more than one second → press the 1 key → enter the message → press the Center key [登録](Register) → press the 1 key → enter the recipient’s phone number → press the Center key [登録](Register) → press the Center key [送信](Send).

Reading a Received C-mail Message

When you receive a C-mail message, a notification will be displayed on the stand-by screen. From the stand-by screen: press the Center key [OK].

EZweb is an information service that allows you to enjoy easy Internet access from your au mobile phone. You can enjoy this service wherever the signal reaches. To use EZweb service, a separate subscription is needed. If you did not subscribe to EZweb service when you purchased W11H, please contact the au shop where you purchased your phone or contact the customer service by phone.

If you subscribed to the EZweb service when you purchased your phone, you will be able to use the EZweb service immediately. Make sure that you set the default settings before using the E-mail and EZweb services for the first time.

From the stand-by screen: press the EZ key → press the 1 key → press the 1 key → select the website you want to view.

Taking a Photo

From the stand-by screen: press and hold Camera key downwards for more than one second → press the Center key [撮影](Shoot) to shoot a photo → press the Center key [保存](Store) again to store the photo.

Pressing camera key upwards during Photo mode changes to Movie mode.

If W11H is folded:

From the stand-by screen: press and hold Camera key downwards for more than one second → press the Center key [撮影](Shoot) to shoot a photo → press the Center key [保存](Store) again to store the photo.

Recording a Movie Clip

From the stand-by screen: press and hold Camera key upwards for more than one second → press the Center key [録画](Record) to start recording → press the Center key [保存](Store) again to store the movie.

Pressing the Side key during recording stops recording.

Pressing camera key downwards during Movie mode changes to Photo mode.

If W11H is folded:

From the stand-by screen: press and hold Camera key upwards for more than one second → press the Center key [録画](Record) to start recording → press the Center key [保存](Store) again to store the movie.

Pressing the Side key [停止](Stop) during recording stops recording.

1. Dial the International access code by pressing the 0 key, then the 1 key, then the 0 key.

2. Dial the Country code.

3. Dial the Area code.

4. Dial the Phone number you want to call.

5. Press the Send/Receive key.

This function allows you to play Voice Mail Service operation instructions and answering messages in English.

From the stand-by screen: press the Center key → press the Cursor key (right) → press the 8 key → press the 1 key → press the 5 key → press the Center key [発信](Call).

From the stand-by screen, change the Kikubari (Courtesy) switch on the side of the phone.

Normal: Ringer tone sounds.

Safety: After ringer tone sounds, the caller hears the message indicating that you are driving and, the caller can leave a message.

Silent: After W11H vibrates without ringing, the caller hears the message, then the caller can leave a message.

From the stand-by screen: press the Center key → press the Cursor key (right) → press the 6 key → press the 1 key → press the Cursor key to select [1 ON] or [2 OFF] → press the Center key [選択](Select) → press the Center key (When selecting [1 ON]).
