This blower is intended for drying floors, walls and ceilings and furniture, as well as wet-cleaned rugs/carpets.

This device is intended for use in private households and for commercial use.

Never touch the mains plug or the device with wet hands.

Check the mains cable regularly for damage such as for cracks forming or signs of ageing. Replace the mains cable if it is damaged before continued use.

Injuries due to strong suction: The device creates strong suction at the air inlet, meaning that objects, items of clothing or hair could be sucked in. Keep a safe distance from the air inlet.

Injuries due to strong air streaming: The device creates strong air streaming at the air exit, meaning that sucked-in objects could be ejected at high speed. Keep a safe distance from the air exit.

Take suitable measures to avoid the device moving around on smooth floors.

When setting up the device, ensure that the fan grilles are not blocked.

Open doors and windows as wide as possible to improve ventilation.

Set up and align the device stably on level ground.

The AB 28 Classic can be positioned at 0°, 45°, or 90° angles.

The AB 40 Classic can be positioned at 0°, 45°, or 90° angles.

The device has a Power switch. The AB 40 Classic model also has a Timer clock.

Power switch positions:

Timer clock (AB 40 Classic only):

1. Connect the mains plug.

2. Switch on the device using the power switch.

1. AB 40 Classic only: Adjust the timer clock to the desired time (1-180 minutes).

2. Carry out drying by directing the air flow towards the area needing drying.

1. Switch off the device using the power switch (position O).

2. Pull out the mains plug.

▲ CAUTION: Failure to observe the weight. Risk of injury and damage. Be aware of the weight of the device during transportation.

1. Wind the mains cable around the cable storage.

2. When transporting the device in vehicles, secure it to prevent it from slipping or overturning in accordance with the respective valid guidelines.

Use the carrying handle (and transport handle on AB 40 Classic) for moving the device.

The device may only be stored indoors.

▲ CAUTION: Device continues to run after switch-off. Risk of injury from blower continuing to run. Wait until the blower has come to a complete standstill before performing maintenance or repair work.

1. Check the fan grilles daily for soiling, clean if necessary.

2. Regularly clean the device surface with a moist cloth.

▲ DANGER: Danger of electric shock. Injuries due to touching live parts. Switch off the device. Remove the mains plug.

▲ CAUTION: Device continues to run after switch-off. Risk of injury from blower continuing to run. Wait until the blower has come to a complete standstill before performing maintenance or repair work.

1. Check the socket and the power supply fuse.

2. Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the device for damage.

3. Switch on the device.

If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.

If a malfunction cannot be corrected using the troubleshooting steps, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.

We shall remedy possible malfunctions on your appliance within the warranty period free of cost, provided that a material or manufacturing flaw is the cause.
