To charge your IZZO SWAMI 6000, follow these steps:

1. Insert the micro USB charging end into the Swami 6000.

2. Insert the USB end of the charging cord into a USB charging port or the included AC adapter. The recommended USB charging rate is 5V, 1A. Higher charging input could shorten the battery life of the unit.

A complete full charge will take roughly 6 hours of charging time.

The IZZO SWAMI 6000 has strong internal magnets that hold the metal belt clip. The belt clip must be removed to attach the unit to a cart frame.

To remove the belt clip:

1. With the unit held vertically, rotate the belt clip 90 degrees in either direction.

2. Next, lift up on the top end of the clip and push down on the other end to lift it off the magnets.

Note: The internal magnets are very strong, and a generous amount of force is required to separate the clip from the magnets.

To attach the belt clip:

Simply line up the square backing of the belt clip and let the magnets attract the backing.

[Enter] Button: Hold to power on. Press to select options.

[Page] Button: In Play Mode, press to toggle between the Green, Hazards, and Scorecard screens. Press to return to the previous screen in other menus.

[Up] Button: Press to scroll up or change holes.

[Down] Button: Press to scroll down or change holes.

The main play screen displays the following information:

Time: Current time.

Satellite Connection: Icon indicating GPS signal strength.

Battery Level: Shows the remaining battery life.

Hole #: The current hole you are playing.

Par: The par for the current hole.

Distance to Back of Green: The top number (e.g., 178) is the distance to the back edge of the green.

Distance to Center of Green: The middle, large number (e.g., 168) is the distance to the center of the green.

Distance to Front of Green: The bottom number (e.g., 158) is the distance to the front edge of the green.

Score: Your score relative to par for the round.

Unit of Measure: Indicates whether distances are in Yards or Meters.

Press and hold the [Enter] button for 3 seconds until the power turns on. The Start Menu will appear with three options: Play, Settings, and Power Off.

Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to move the selection mark. To select an option, press the [Enter] key.

To return to the Start Menu screen at any time, press and hold the [Enter] button for a few seconds.

From the Start Menu, use the [Up] and [Down] keys to select Power Off, then press and release the [Enter] key to turn the unit off.

1. From the Start Menu, select the “Play” option and press [Enter].

2. The Swami 6000 will search for surrounding golf courses. Please note that the first time you use the device, it may take several minutes to locate the satellite.

3. When the device has found the courses, it will list them. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to select your golf course from the list.

4. Press the [Enter] key to begin your round.

The device will then enter Play Mode and display the distance to the Front, Center, and Back of the green for the current hole. The Swami 6000 also features Auto Hole Advance, which automatically switches to the next hole as you play.

During a round, you can toggle between several screens using the [Page] and [Enter] buttons:

1. Play Mode (Green Distances): This is the default screen, showing distances to the front, center, and back of the green.

2. Hazard Screen: While in Play Mode, press the [Page] button to access the Hazard Screen, which shows distances to various hazards. Press [Page] again to return to the Play Mode screen.

3. Scorecard: From the Hazard Screen, press the [Page] button again to access the Scorecard. Use the [Up] or [Down] buttons to enter your score for the hole. Press [Page] again to return to the Play Mode screen. Note: The Scorecard can only be used if it is turned ON in the Settings menu.

4. Shot Distance Mode: While in Play Mode, press the [Enter] button to access Shot Distance Mode. Travel from where you hit your shot to your ball’s location. The screen will display the distance the shot traveled. To return to the Play Mode screen, press the [Enter] button again. Note: Shot Distance Mode can only be used if it is turned ON in the Settings menu.

When you have finished your round, hold the [OK] button (the [Enter] button) to return to the Main Menu.

If the Scorecard feature is turned on, you will be presented with the following options. Use the [UP/DOWN] buttons to scroll and press [OK] to select:

Save & Exit: Saves your scorecard, ends the round, and returns to the Main Menu.

Discard & Exit: Discards your scorecard, ends the round, and returns to the Main Menu.

Cancel: Select to return to Play Mode.

From the Start Menu screen, use the [Up] and [Down] keys to highlight and select “Settings”, then press the [Enter] key to access the Settings Menu.

The IZZO SWAMI 6000 allows you to view the last 10 saved scores.

1. Navigate to the Settings Menu.

2. Select “Score History” and press the [Enter] key.

3. Use the [Up] or [Down] keys to select the score you would like to view, then press [Enter] to see it.

4. Press the [Page] key to return to the Settings Menu.

1. From the Settings Menu, select “Scorecard” and press the [Enter] key.

2. Press the [Up] key to toggle the Scorecard feature On or Off.

3. Press the [Down] key to select the score display format: numerically or relative to par (-1, E, +1).

4. Hold down the [Enter] key to return to the Settings Menu.

To turn the Shot Distance feature on or off:

1. Select “Shot Distance” from the Settings Menu and press the [Enter] key.

2. Press the [Up] key to toggle the Shot Distance feature On or Off.

1. From the Settings Menu, select the “Meter/Yard” option.

2. Press [Enter] to change the unit of measure. (Y = Yard and M = Meter).

3. When the desired option is selected, press and hold the [Enter] key for a few seconds to return to the Start Menu.

While the IZZO SWAMI 6000 sets the time automatically based on your GPS location, you can manually adjust it by the hour.

1. Select “Time Set” from the Settings Menu.

2. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to increase or reduce the time by adjusting the UTC Offset.

3. Press [Enter] when finished.

You can choose between a 12 Hour or 24 Hour time format.

1. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to select “Time Format” from the Settings Menu.

2. Press the [Enter] key to change between 12H and 24H.

3. Press and hold the [Enter] key to return to the Start Menu.

1. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to select “Daylight Saving” from the Settings Menu.

2. Press the [Enter] key to change between On or Off.

3. Press and hold the [Enter] key to return to the Start Menu.

The IZZO SWAMI 6000 features an auto power-off function to save power. To set it:

1. Select the “Auto Shut-Off” option on the Settings Menu and press the [Enter] key.

2. Use the [Up] or [Down] key to edit the amount of idle time before the device powers off automatically.

3. To return to the Settings Menu screen, press the [Enter] key.

1. Select the “Language” option in the Settings Menu.

2. Use the [Up] and [Down] keys to scroll to the desired language.

3. Press the [Enter] key to select it.

To view the device’s model information, select “Model Info” from the Settings Menu screen. There you can view the Model Number, Memory, Version, Brand, and Serial number of the unit. To return to the Settings Menu screen, press the [Enter] key.

Please be aware of the following information prior to operating the device:

• The IZZO SWAMI 6000 was only designed for the purpose of leisure and recreation and is not applicable for industrial or special measurement.

• The IZZO SWAMI 6000 is only an auxiliary device.

• Please do not try to disassemble the IZZO SWAMI 6000 or repair any part of the device discreetly.

• Please do not store the IZZO SWAMI 6000 in places exposed to direct sunlight or in extremely high temperatures.

As the IZZO SWAMI 6000 uses GPS, it is available only in places that can receive satellite signals. This excludes indoor locations or use in water.

If your device cannot be started, check for these possible problems and solutions:

Problem A: Battery voltage is too low.

Solution A: Charge the battery.

Problem B: You didn’t press and hold the [Enter] key for 3 seconds.

Solution B: Press and hold the [Enter] key until the power is on.

If the device will not power off, it may be due to holding down the [Enter] key instead of pressing and releasing it.

Solution: Press and release the [Enter] key to select the Power Off option from the menu.

If your device cannot detect satellites, check for these possible problems and solutions:

Problem A: Time for accessing the satellite signal is not enough.

Solution A: Check whether the satellite icon keeps blinking; if it stops blinking, the satellite location has been fixed. Allow more time for the device to connect.

Problem B: The device is being started indoors.

Solution B: Keep the device in an open space without obstructions to allow it to receive a GPS signal.
