Step 2. Place the back guard over the motor shaft, ensuring that the 3 holes at the centre of the guard fit over the 3 locating pins on the front of the motor housing. The handle should be at the top.

Step 3. Secure the back guard by screwing the back guard nut back on in a clockwise direction.

Step 4. Place the fan blade onto the motor shaft, ensuring that the grooves on the back of the blade lock into the pin on the motor shaft.

Step 5. Secure the blade by screwing on the blade nut in an anti-clockwise direction.

Front Guard Assembly:

Step 1. Open the clips on the front guard.

Step 2. Place the front guard onto the back guard, ensuring that the hole on the front guard rim lines up with the screw and nut on the bottom of the back guard rim.

Step 3. Push all the clips down to secure the two guards together.

Step 4. Tighten the screw and nut at the bottom of the guard.
