When using your IGENIX DF1660, please adhere to the following safety precautions:

This appliance is for indoor, domestic use only and is not intended for commercial use.

Do not use the appliance for any other purpose than its intended use.

Check the voltage on the rating plate of the appliance corresponds to the house electricity supply which must be 220-240V AC.

This appliance is not to be used with an extension lead.

Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.

Always unplug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.

The appliance must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance.

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

Ensure that the fan is not placed near curtains, drapes or any objects that may be drawn into the fan.

Never insert fingers or any other objects into the fan guards.

To assemble your IGENIX DF1660, please follow these steps:

Base and Pole Assembly:

Step 1. Attach the pole to the base and secure with the large screw provided.

Step 2. Loosen the height adjustment knob and pull out the inner pole to your desired height and re-tighten the knob.

Step 3. Place the motor housing onto the inner pole and secure by tightening the small screw on the back.

Back Guard and Fan Blade Assembly:

Step 1. Unscrew the back guard nut from the front of the motor housing by turning it anti-clockwise.

Step 2. Place the back guard over the motor shaft, ensuring that the 3 holes at the centre of the guard fit over the 3 locating pins on the front of the motor housing. The handle should be at the top.

Step 3. Secure the back guard by screwing the back guard nut back on in a clockwise direction.

Step 4. Place the fan blade onto the motor shaft, ensuring that the grooves on the back of the blade lock into the pin on the motor shaft.

Step 5. Secure the blade by screwing on the blade nut in an anti-clockwise direction.

Front Guard Assembly:

Step 1. Open the clips on the front guard.

Step 2. Place the front guard onto the back guard, ensuring that the hole on the front guard rim lines up with the screw and nut on the bottom of the back guard rim.

Step 3. Push all the clips down to secure the two guards together.

Step 4. Tighten the screw and nut at the bottom of the guard.

To operate the IGENIX DF1660, first set the fan on a dry, firm, and level surface. Plug the power cord into a 220-240V AC electrical outlet. You can then select your desired fan speed by pressing the relevant button on the motor housing:

0 = Off

1 = Low Speed

2 = Medium Speed

3 = High Speed

To adjust the vertical angle of the IGENIX DF1660, you can tilt the fan head up or down to direct the airflow to the desired angle.

To make the fan head on your IGENIX DF1660 oscillate (move from side to side), push the oscillation knob located on top of the motor housing downwards. To stop the oscillation, simply pull the knob upwards.

To adjust the height of your IGENIX DF1660, loosen the height adjustment knob located on the main pole. Raise or lower the inner pole to your desired height, and then re-tighten the height adjustment knob to secure it in place.

For cleaning and maintenance of your IGENIX DF1660, please follow these guidelines:

Always unplug the fan from the mains socket before cleaning.

The fan guards and blades can be cleaned using a soft, damp cloth.

Do not use any harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as this may cause damage to the appliance.

Ensure the fan is completely dry before plugging it back into the mains socket.

When not in use for a long period of time, it is recommended that you store the fan in its original box and keep it in a cool, dry place.
