What is the installation procedure for the top bag on my GRIZZLY G4833 dust collector?

Warning: To avoid injury, always remove the plug from the outlet before changing the bag filter.

1. Remove the old filter and clean the sealing surface.

2. Attach the loop on the closed end of the bag to the unit to prevent the bag from collapsing when not in use.

3. Carefully slide the open end of the bag over the unit.

4. Clamp the bag to the unit with the enclosed clamp. Inspect the seal for leaks.

5. If tightening the clamp does not stop dust from leaking, we recommend applying a layer of adhesive-backed foam weather stripping just below the rolled lip on the collector body. It may be helpful to seal the bottom bag in this manner as well.

How do I clean my GRIZZLY G4833 dust collector?

1. When the dust collector is off, tap the outside of the top filter bag with your hands to remove internal dust build-up.

2. Empty the bottom bag when it is three-quarters of the way full.

Important: Avoid cleaning internal filter media with abrasive materials or using a brush. This will permanently damage the filter, causing dust to bypass the filter.
