To turn on the GARMIN MARQ ADVENTURER GEN 2, press the LIGHT button.

The buttons on the GARMIN MARQ ADVENTURER GEN 2 perform the following functions:

LIGHT: Press to turn on the watch, turn down screen brightness, quickly press twice to turn on the flashlight, or hold to view the controls menu.

UP MENU: Press to scroll through the glance loop and menus, or hold to view the menu.

DOWN: Press to scroll through the glance loop and menus, or hold to view music controls from any screen.

START SELECT: Press to choose an option in a menu, view the activity list, or start and stop an activity. Hold to open the orienteering app.

BACK LAP: Press to return to the previous screen or record a lap, rest, or transition during a multisport activity.

You can perform the following touch operations on the GARMIN MARQ ADVENTURER GEN 2:

Tap: Select an item or choose an option in a menu.

Swipe Up/Down: Scroll through items, the glance loop, and menus.

Swipe Left: Open an action menu when applicable.

Swipe Right: Return to the previous screen.

Rotate: Loop through items.

Hold a Data field: View detailed data on applicable watch faces.

Drag: Pan the map.

Hold a Location: Select a location on the map.

To temporarily enable or disable the touchscreen, hold the DOWN and START buttons.

To enable or disable the touchscreen during general use, activities, or sleep, hold the MENU button, select System, select Touch, and then select an option.

Hold the LIGHT button to view the controls menu, which provides quick access to frequently used functions like turning on do not disturb mode, saving a location, or turning off the watch.

From the watch face of the GARMIN MARQ ADVENTURER GEN 2, press the UP or DOWN button to scroll through the glance loop. Press the START button to view more information about a specific glance, and use the DOWN button to view further details.

1. From the watch face, press the START button.

2. Select an activity.

3. If the activity requires GPS, go outside and wait while the watch locates satellites.

4. Press the START button to start the activity timer.

2. Select Save to save the activity and review the summary.

3. Press the START button to start the activity timer. The device will enter low power mode to prolong battery life.

1. Clean and dry the contacts on the back of the GARMIN MARQ ADVENTURER GEN 2 to prevent corrosion.

2. Align the charger with the back of the device and press it into place.

3. Plug the USB cable into a USB charging port.

1. Slide the latch on the QuickFit strap or bracelet and remove it from the watch.

2. Align the new strap with the watch and press it into place until secure.
