How do I operate the iron?
1. Turn Iron On: Press the ON/OFF button until the light turns on.
2. Set Temperature: Press the ON/OFF button to cycle through and reach the desired temperature.
Recommended temperatures:
(130 – 160°C) Fine hair
(160 – 200°C) Medium hair
(200 – 230°C) Thick/Coarse hair
3. Turn Iron Off: Press the ON/OFF button until the light turns off.
Does the iron have an automatic shut-off feature?
For your protection, the iron will automatically shut off after 1 hour. If the iron shuts off while still in use, just turn it “off” then back “on” to restart the heater.
What are some styling tips for using the iron?
• Comb and section dry hair
• Use a comb when ironing for best results
• Unplug the iron at the end of use.
What are the main safety warnings for using this appliance?

Who can use this appliance?

How should I perform daily maintenance on the iron?
For the safe usage of the iron, check the following daily:
• Check the cord and surface of the cord. Never use if any parts are split, torn or damaged.
• Check the plug and never use if cracked, split or damaged.
• Check the plug pins and never use if bent or damaged.
• Check the controller and do not use if cracked, split, broken or damaged.
• When not in use for a long time, clean and dry the entire iron and store in a cool, dry place. When ready to use again, follow the directions of daily maintenance confirming each function of the iron.
How do I clean the iron?
Unplug the iron from the power source and wipe with a damp cloth.
Do not wipe the iron with thinner, benzene, gasoline, lamp oil or any other solvents or chemicals, as this may cause accidents or malfunction.
What should I do if the iron has a defect or malfunctions?
In case of defects or malfunction, please review the following points prior to contacting a repair service center:
• In the case that some malfunction is found, unplug the iron and contact your service center.
• Formawell Beauty is not responsible for damage due to operator accidents such as dropping the iron on the floor.
How should I store the iron?
When not in use, iron should be disconnected and stored in a safe, dry location, out of reach of children. Never wrap the cord around the iron. Allow the cord to hang loose and straight from the hang ring.
What does it mean that this is a double-insulated appliance?
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace.
