Please follow these safety instructions when using your DOMETIC HIPRO CARE C60SBI:

Electrocution Hazard

• Ensure the mini fridge has been installed by a qualified technician in accordance with the Dometic installation manual.

• Do not operate the mini fridge if it is visibly damaged.

• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent, or a similarly qualified person to prevent safety hazards.

• Repairs may only be performed by qualified personnel. Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.

• When positioning the device, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.

• Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the device.

• Plug the device into sockets that ensure proper connection, especially when grounding is required.

Fire Hazard

• The refrigerant in the circuit is highly flammable. In the event of any damage to the refrigerant circuit:

– Keep naked flames and potential ignition sources away from the mini fridge.

– Ventilate the room well.

– Switch off the mini fridge.

• For mini fridges with R600a refrigerant: The circuit contains a small quantity of environmentally friendly but flammable refrigerant. Do not use or store in confined spaces with minimal air flow. Keep the installation recess free of any electrical components that could produce sparks or arcs.

• Keep ventilation openings on the device housing free of obstructions.

• Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit.

Explosion Hazard

• Do not store any explosive substances, such as spray cans with propellants, in the mini fridge.

Health Hazard

• For versions with absorption cooling: Never open the absorber unit. It is under high pressure and can cause injury if opened.

• This device is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities unless they have been given supervision.

• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the mini fridge.

• Children aged 3 to 8 are allowed to load and unload the mini fridge.

• Foodstuff may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.

Risk of Crushing

• Do not put your fingers into the hinge.

To operate your DOMETIC HIPRO CARE C60SBI safely, please follow these guidelines:

• Before starting, ensure the power supply line and the plug are dry.

• Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands.

• Ensure only items that may be chilled at the selected temperature are put into the mini fridge.

• Food should only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.

• Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase in the temperature inside the compartments.

• Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.

• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers so that they are not in contact with and cannot drip onto other food.

• If the mini fridge is left empty for long periods: Switch it off, defrost it, clean and dry it, and leave the door open to prevent mold from developing.

• Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens, etc.).

• Ensure the ventilation vents are never covered.

• Never immerse the mini fridge in water.

• Protect the mini fridge and the cable against heat and moisture.

• Ensure that foodstuffs do not touch the walls of the cooling area.

The DOMETIC HIPRO CARE C60SBI is intended for cooling and storing beverages and food in closed containers, and fresh foods. It is designed for household and similar applications such as:

• Staff kitchens in stores, offices, and other working environments

• Farmhouses

• Hotels, motels, and other residential type environments

• Bed and breakfast type environments

• Catering and similar non-retail applications

The mini fridge is suitable as a built-in or freestanding appliance.

The mini fridge is not designed for installation in caravans or motor homes and is not suitable for:

• Storage of corrosive, caustic, or solvent-containing substances

• Storage of medicine

• Deep-freezing of foodstuff

Switching On

1. Plug the power cord into an AC mains socket.

2. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn the unit on.

3. Wait for 4 hours for the mini fridge to reach its operating temperature before placing items inside.

Setting the Temperature

1. Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to enter temperature setting mode.

2. Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available temperature settings:

• Press 5 times for 4° C / 39 °F

• Press 7 times for 2° C / 36 °F

• Press 1 time for 12° C / 54 °F

• Press 3 times for 7° C / 45 °F

Setting Silent Mode (C60 Models Only)

1. Press the silent mode button for 1 second to activate it.

2. Silent mode will remain active for 12 hours or until the ambient temperature rises to 15 °C / 59 °F, at which point it will be deactivated.

Switching Off

1. To turn off the DOMETIC HIPRO CARE C60SBI, press and hold the power button for 6 seconds.

Always disconnect the DOMETIC HIPRO CARE C60SBI from the mains before cleaning and maintenance.

• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can damage the device.

• Never use hard or sharp tools to remove ice or to free frozen objects on the device.

• Do not use any mechanical tools or any other tools to speed up the defrosting process.

• The light source can only be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazard.

• Clean the device regularly and as soon as it becomes dirty with a damp cloth.

• Wipe the device dry with a cloth after cleaning.

• Check the condensate drain regularly. Clean it when necessary. If it is blocked, the condensate will collect on the bottom of the device.

• For absorber versions: Use a brush or soft cloth annually to remove dust from the absorber unit.

WARNING! Fire hazard

• The refrigerant is highly flammable. Do not open or damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The insulation of the device contains an insulating gas (see data plate). Do not damage the insulation.

Recycling

• Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever possible.

• For products with non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries, or light sources, dispose of the product in accordance with all applicable regulations. The product can be disposed of free of charge.
