Important safety information to reduce risk of fire injury:

8. Plug the power supply unit directly into a GFCI wet location outlet.

9. For use with low voltage outdoor landscape lighting system only.

10. The maximum output of this transformer is 60 watts. Do not overload the transformer.

Be sure that the total cumulative wattage of all 12 volt fixtures connected to the transformer is equal to or less than 60 watt.

CAUTION: This landscape light system must be installed in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. If you are experiencing problems, contact a qualified electrician.

The DEWENWILS TLA-60-12DW transformer has 60 watt circuits which will power up to 60 watts of light.

– To make sure the maximum number of fixtures can be safely connected to this transformer, add up the individual wattages of all the fixtures.

– The total wattage of your fixtures must not exceed the output capacity of the 60 Watt transformer.

1. Preparing the Cable

Be careful when splitting the cable. Do NOT expose the copper cable. Remove the landscape cable insulation 1/2 inch (12.7mm) from both cables and twist the ends.

2. Connecting the cable to the Transformer

Lay the transformer on a flat, stable surface. Use a screwdriver to connect the stripped ends of the cable with “+” and “-” under the terminal clamping plate. Gently pull on the landscape cable to verify if the connection is strong.

3. Placing Your Fixtures and Routing the cable

Lay your fixtures (not included) to your desired location. Be sure they do not exceed the 60-watt rating of the transformer. Coil the rest of the cable after the last fixture.

4. Attaching Your Fixtures

Use the cable connectors to attach your fixtures with the cable. Plug the transformer in the GFCI outlet and enter the ON mode. The lamps will then light up.

5. Mounting the Transformer

Use the screw to mount the transformer directly on a wall. It is suggested to mount it 12 inches to 48 inches (0.3 m to 1.2 m) high from the ground.

In ON MODE, the “On” indicator lights up. The transformer will always keep output, and the load lamps will always be on.

When the DEWENWILS TLA-60-12DW enters Auto mode, the “Auto” indicator lights. The “Sensor” indicator lights up if it detects night. When the “Sensor” indicator lights up for 30 seconds, the transformer starts to output and the load lamps light up. The “Sensor” indicator goes off if it detects daylight. When the “Sensor” indicator goes off for 30 seconds, the transformer stops the output and the load lamps go off.

When the DEWENWILS TLA-60-12DW enters COUNTDOWN mode, the “2H” / “4H” / “6H” / “8H” indicator lights. The “Sensor” indicator will be on first if it detects night. When the “Sensor” indicator lights up for 30 seconds, the transformer will start output and the load lamps will light up until the countdown is over.

NOTE: When the sensor is illuminated by other light during the countdown, the “Sensor” indicator goes off. If it exceeds 30s, the transformer cuts off the output and the load lamps go out.

When the DEWENWILS TLA-60-12DW enters TEST mode, the “Test” indicator lights. When it is detected at night, the “Sensor” indicator lights, the transformer starts to output, and the load lamps light. When it is detected that it is daytime, the “Sensor” indicator goes off, the transformer cuts off the output, and the load lamps go off.

When the “Error” indicator is red, the output is overloaded or there is a short circuit. To solve this, pull out the plug and check the circuit. When you connect the power again, the product will automatically reset.

NOTE:

1. If the load fixtures are LED lighting, they may flash once every 10s.

2. In AUTO mode and COUNTDOWN mode, the “Error” indicator will only light up at night and not during the day.

When the transformer detects day or night, the “Sensor” indicator will be off or on, respectively.

NOTE: At the time of day and night transition, the ambient brightness may be at the critical value of sensor detection and judgment, so the “Sensor” indicator may blink continuously, but it will not change the working mode before blinking.

The “Timer Setting” button allows you to select the function. The available functions are On-Auto-2H-4H-6H-8H-Test-Off.

Yes, the transformer has a power-off memory function. If the power goes off, the working mode will still operate according to your prior setting once power is restored.
