The first step to start using the DENVER FAS-18100M by inserting the battery is to open the battery cover.

To make an international call using the 0 key on the DENVER FAS-18100M, follow these steps:

1. Press the 0 key for twice times and the sign “+” will come out.
2. Then enter country code, area code and phone number (without a zero in front of mobile phone number).
3. Press Send key to enter voice dial to call out.

To dial a fixed line number using the “+” sign on the DENVER FAS-18100M, dial: “+” country code + entire phone number + Send key.

If some extension numbers of a fixed line on the DENVER FAS-18100M couldn’t be dialed directly, you need to dial the telephone exchange first and then dial the extension number. To answer an incoming call on the DENVER FAS-18100M, respond to an incoming call simply by pressing the green button. To set up the answer mode select Settings > Call settings > Answer mode.

To make a call from the Home screen on the DENVER FAS-18100M, select the desired number by using the keypad and then press the green call button. To end the call, press the red end call key.

To call a number from the contacts list on the DENVER FAS-18100M, from the main screen, press the upper right selection key; this will automatically open the Contacts. Scroll through contacts with the UP/DOWN keys and press the green call button to call the desired contact.

To call a number from the call log on the DENVER FAS-18100M, from the main screen, press the green call key; the missed, received, and outgoing calls will be automatically displayed. Scroll with UP/Down keys and press the green call button when you find the number you want to call.

To add contacts to the Contacts on the DENVER FAS-18100M, select Menu > Contacts > Options > New, and choose to save the number on the SIM or the Phone. Enter the name and the new number, then press Save.

For Speed Dial on the DENVER FAS-18100M, go to Menu > Contacts > Options > Others > Speed Dial > Options > Edit. You can assign numbers to keys 2-9 that will be called automatically if you press and hold the related button.

The Memory Status feature within the contacts settings of the DENVER FAS-18100M allows you to see how much free storage there is on the phone and SIM card.

To send an SMS from the DENVER FAS-18100M, from the main screen, choose Menu > Messaging > Write message and write your message. Press Options > Send to > Insert number and enter the number using the numeric keypad or Insert contacts to select from the Contacts the contact you want to text.

When a new text message is received on the DENVER FAS-18100M, the phone displays an envelope icon on the top bar (until the message is read/for as long as the message is unread) and a notification pop up appears on the main screen.
