What are the general safety instructions for this device?

1. Disconnect the cradle from your computer.
2. Scan the “Bluetooth SPP mode” barcode.

After successfully pairing, the scanner will beep and the LED will turn blue and stop flashing.
How do I pair the scanner with an iOS or Android mobile device?
To pair the scanner with an iOS or Android mobile device, use the barcodes below. If you have previously paired this scanner with this device, navigate to the Bluetooth setting and ‘forget’ for the scanner; before attempting to pair again.
1. Scan the “Clear previous pair” barcode.
2. Scan the “HID mode” barcode.
3. Scan the “Pairing mode” barcode.
4. Open the Bluetooth setting on your device and connect to the “Bluetooth Scanner”.
After successfully pairing, the scanner will beep and the LED will turn blue and stop flashing. When paired with an iOS device, quickly double press the trigger to toggle the on-screen keyboard.
How do I use the on-screen keyboard on an iOS device?
To toggle between barcode scanning and on-screen keyboard input to work with iOS devices, scan the “iOS keyboard On/Off” barcode.
After you enable the iOS hot key by scanning the “Enable iOS Hot Key” barcode, you may simply press the trigger once to toggle the iOS device’s on-screen keyboard.

The sleep setting barcodes configure how long the scanner can be idle before powering off. Scan the barcode corresponding to your desired time:
• 2 minutes
• *5 minutes (default)
• 10 minutes

How do I use the memory mode?
While in memory mode, the scanner will store all barcodes scanned until the “Transmit Stored Data” barcode is scanned.
• To enter memory mode, scan the “Enter Memory Mode” barcode.
• To transmit all the stored data, scan the “Transmit Stored Data” barcode.
• To find out how many barcodes are stored, scan the “Transmit Count of Stored Barcodes” barcode.
• To delete all stored data, scan the “Clear All Stored Data” barcode.
• To exit memory mode, scan the “Exit Memory Mode” barcode.
How do I set the auto reconnect option?
Scan the barcode that corresponds to the desired auto reconnect duration:
• 1 minute
• 5 minutes
• 10 minutes
• *20 minutes (default)
How do I change the vibration setting?
To change the vibration setting, scan the appropriate barcode:
• To turn on vibration, scan the “Enable” barcode.
• To turn off vibration, scan the “*Disable” barcode (default).
How can I change the Bluetooth name of the scanner?
To make a command barcode and scan it:
Use the format: %%BT_NAME=ADCB
“ADCB” is the part to be replaced with your customized name.
