What are the special wash cycles on the CREDA CRWM1014DG?
Your CREDA CRWM1014DG features several special wash cycles designed for specific laundry types:
VARIOUS ONE TOUCH CYCLES:
This cycle intelligently detects the weight of the laundry and matches the washing time and temperature accordingly. “Auto” is displayed during the detection stage. You can start this cycle in three ways:
1. When the washer is off, press and hold the one-touch button for at least 3 seconds.
2. When the washer is on, press and hold the one-touch button for at least 3 seconds.
3. When the washer is on, short press the one-touch button, then press the start/pause button.
SPECIAL WASH CYCLES:
• BABY CARE: A cycle designed for dirt typical of children’s garments that also effectively removes any traces of residual detergent.
• DOWN JACKET: For washing single down items (not exceeding 2.0kg), cushions, or clothes padded with goose down. Place items in the drum with edges folded inwards, using no more than 3/4 of the drum’s volume. A liquid detergent is recommended.
• WOOL: A cycle for wool fabrics. Ensure clothes are labeled “machine washable”. After the cycle, remove clothes quickly to avoid deformation. The water temperature should not exceed 40°C. Use a special detergent for wool and do not exceed 1.0 kg of laundry.
How do I use the Delay End and Child Lock functions on my CREDA CRWM1014DG?
DELAY END
The Delay End function allows you to set when you want the wash cycle to finish.
1. After selecting your desired washing program but before pressing start/pause, press the delay end button repeatedly until the desired end time is displayed (e.g., 8h). This can be set in one-hour increments up to 24 hours.
2. The cycle duration is included in the set Delay End time. For example, for a 1hr 30min cycle with an 8h Delay End, the display will show 8h and count down for approximately 6h 30min, then the washing cycle will begin.
CHILD LOCK
This function prevents accidental changes to the washing procedure.
1. During operation, press and hold the SPEED button for 3 seconds to set or cancel the Child Lock function.
2. When set, the indicator light illuminates, the door cannot be opened, and the control panel is locked (all buttons are unresponsive). You can still turn off the machine with the wash cycle selector knob.
3. If the machine is turned off and then on again while Child Lock is active, it will directly run the program it was on before being turned off.

3. Open the door and add the clothes.
4. After the operation is completed, close the door and long press the START/PAUSE button again to resume the cycle.
NOTE: If the door lock indicator light remains illuminated after pausing, it means the conditions are not safe to open the door (e.g., water level is too high), and the midway clothes filling function cannot be used.
What is the Load Balancing System on the CREDA CRWM1014DG?
The CREDA CRWM1014DG has an automatic detection system for eccentric (unbalanced) loads. During the spin cycle, if clothes are unevenly distributed, the washer will attempt to level and adjust the clothes until they are evenly distributed before spinning at high speed. If the clothes cannot be evenly distributed within a specified time, the washer will not spin to avoid severe vibration.
If this occurs, you should check if the clothes are knotted or entangled. You may need to pause the machine, reorganize the clothes, and then select the “Spin” program to complete the process. Washing very few items, like a single pair of jeans or a bath towel, may cause the machine to not complete the spinning process due to balance protection. It is recommended to wash large and small clothes together to help them distribute more evenly.
How do I install my CREDA CRWM1014DG washing machine?
Follow these steps for the physical installation of your CREDA CRWM1014DG:
1. Unpacking:
• Remove the washer from its packaging. To remove the cushion bottom, do not tip the washer on its front. Lay the washer down carefully on its side to remove the carton base.
2. Carrying:
• Tilt the washer backward. One person should hold the protruding part of the top plate from behind, while the other person holds the bottom of the front panel. CAUTION: Never lift the appliance by yourself.
3. Removing Transport Bolts:
• BEFORE FIRST USE, you must remove all 4 transport bolts from the back of the machine using the supplied wrench. These secure the drum during transit and will cause severe vibration and damage if left in.
• Undo the four bolts (A) and remove them.
• Remove the four spacers (B). They will fall to the floor when you tip the machine.
• Insert the four cover caps (C) from the accessories bag into the holes.
4. Location:
• Choose a level and stable area. DO NOT install in a damp area, in direct sunlight, or where temperatures may reach 0°C.
• Ensure there is enough space for ventilation: 3cm or more above, 5cm or more behind, 2cm or more on the left and right sides, and 64cm or more in front.
5. Levelling the Appliance:
• It is very important that the washer is level to prevent vibration. If the floor is uneven, adjust the washer feet.
• Have someone lift the washer slightly to take pressure off a foot to be adjusted. Turn the foot to extend or retract it.
• Extend the feet no more than necessary. The more they are extended, the more vibration will occur.
• Use a spirit level to check it is level side-to-side and front-to-rear.
• Press down on each corner to ensure it doesn’t “wobble”. All feet must press equally against the floor.
• Once level, tighten the locknuts against the washer bottom to lock the feet in place.
How do I connect the water and drain hoses to my CREDA CRWM1014DG?
CONNECTING THE WATER INLET HOSE
1. Connect one end of the water inlet hose to a cold water tap. Before connecting, run water from the tap until it is perfectly clear. Tighten the hose connection by hand.
2. Connect the other end of the hose to the water inlet valve on the rear of the appliance and tighten by hand.
3. Turn on the tap slowly and check for leaks. DO NOT twist, squash, modify or cut the hose.
CONNECTING THE DRAIN HOSE
The height of the drainage point must be between a minimum of 60cm (24 in) and a maximum of 100cm (39 in) from the floor.
• Standpipe: Attach the drain hose to the elbow support. Insert this section of the hose into the standpipe. Secure the hose with a tie to prevent it from coming out.
• Sink Siphon: Secure the drain hose to the sink siphon spigot using a hose clip (not supplied). Ensure any blanks on the spigot are removed first.
• Wash Basin: Attach the drain hose securely to the wash basin. Ensure there is no stopper in the sink drain and that it is free-flowing. The end of the drain hose must not be submerged in the discharged water.
How should I prepare my laundry before washing it in the CREDA CRWM1014DG?
Proper preparation ensures better washing results and protects both your laundry and your CREDA CRWM1014DG machine.

• Remove any loose items or metal objects from the laundry, such as coins, paper-clips, needles, and nails. Make sure you check pockets and cuffs, and close zips and button up items.
2. Use a Net Bag for Small Items:
• Use a net bag or pillow case to wash smaller items such as tights, socks, and lace. Some items are best turned inside out before washing. Wire-cup bras should be in a pillow case securely closed with a zip or button to prevent damage.
3. Sort Laundry:
• Laundry should be sorted according to colour, degree of soiling, and recommended wash temperature.
• Never wash new multi-coloured items together with other items to prevent discolouration.
• Wash white items separately from coloured items.
Sort by Soiling Level:
• LIGHT SOILING: No visible soiling or stains, but may have absorbed some odour.
• NORMAL SOILING: Visible soiling and/or a few light stains (e.g., T-shirts, shirts worn several times).
