The instruction manual uses the following safety alert symbols and words to alert you to hazardous situations.

Only use a three-wire extension cord that has a three-prong grounding plug and three-pole receptacles that accept the tool’s plug. Do not use an extension cord unless it is absolutely necessary. Use of an improper extension cord could result in a risk of fire and electric shock. If an extension cord must be used, make sure:

a. The prongs on the plug of the extension cord are the same number, size, and shape as those of the plug on the charger.

b. The extension cord is properly wired and in good electrical condition.

c. The wire size is large enough for the AC ampere rating of the charger.

The extension cord must be connected to a 125 Volt GFCI protected outlet with proper grounding. In the event a GFCI protected outlet is not available, do not use.

The power strip with USB ports is located inside the workbench. To use, lift the cord out of the storage area and plug it into a proper GFCI protected outlet.

WARNING: Risk of electric shock. This unit is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. For adult use only. Do not use with an extension cord. Plug directly into a properly installed and grounded GFCI outlet.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this device with a receptacle in which the slot openings do not align with the blades.

• M6 x 16 mm Flat Head Screws (P) (Qty: 2)

Process:

NOTE: To ease installation, it is recommended to place the power strip toward the back of the wood top before use. If you would like to locate the power strip on the left side of the workbench, manage the cord before installation.

1. Line up the power strip with the pre-drilled holes in the wood top.

2. Insert two M6 x 16 mm screws and tighten them.

• M12 Nuts (S) (Qty: 8)

• M12 Washers (T) (Qty: 16)

• M8 x 16 mm Hex Bolts (U) (Qty: 4)

• M8 Nuts (V) (Qty: 4)

• M8 Washers (W) (Qty: 8)

Process:

NOTE: The assembly of the left and right side is similar. First assemble the right side. You can locate the power strip on either side of the workbench. To ease assembly of the power strip to the right side of the leg frame, locate the pre-drilled holes in the upper leg, and orient the leg so that the pre-drilled holes face towards the rear of the unit.

1. Place the wood top upside down on a soft surface to protect the finish.

2. Place the drawer frame upside down. Attach the two upper leg assemblies to the drawer frame. Place the upper legs and drawer frame to align with the pre-drilled hole locations in the wood top.

3. Insert the M12 x 120 mm bolts through the upper legs and into the wood top. Finger tighten.

4. Use M8 x 16 mm bolts, nuts, and washers to attach the upper legs to the drawer frame. Tighten all M8 screws and nuts. NOTICE: The torque for M8 screws is 9.5 Nm (84 in-lbs). The torque for M12 screws is 35 Nm (310 in-lbs).

• M8 Washers (W) (Qty: 16)

Process:

1. Attach four lower legs into the bottom of the upper leg assemblies with M8 x 16 mm bolts and nuts. Tighten the screws.

2. Attach the cross supports into the lower leg assemblies with M8 x 16 mm bolts and nuts. Tighten all M8 bolts.

3. Attach four casters into the caster nuts, which are welded into the bottom of the lower legs. Tighten all casters with a wrench. The two locking casters should be assembled to the front of the unit.

4. Attach the leveling feet into the bottom of the lower legs. Adjust the leveling feet to a suitable height.

• M3.5 x 10 mm Self Tapping Screws (Q) (Qty: 2)

• M8 x 16 mm Hex Bolts (U) (Qty: 2)

• M8 Nuts (V) (Qty: 2)

• M8 Washers (W) (Qty: 4)

Process:

1. Attach the back pegboard panel to the back of the upper legs with six M6 x 16 mm screws. Tighten the screws.

2. Attach each side pegboard panel to the side of the upper leg with six M6 x 16 mm screws. Tighten the screws.

3. Use M8 bolts, washers, and nuts to attach the pegboards together. NOTICE: Manage the cord of the power strip, and attach the cord to the pre-drilled holes in the back pegboard panel with two M3.5 x 10 mm self-tapping screws.

4. Place the wire shelf on the lower cross supports.

1. Pull slides and slide carrier out to fully extend.

2. Hold the slide on the cabinet while aligning the slide on the drawer with it.

3. Slightly insert one side and repeat for the other side.

4. Slowly push drawer until it is completely closed to engage the slide.

5. Open drawer and close to verify proper operation. To remove, empty the drawer, and fully extend it. Push the right release slide lever down, then push the left release slide lever up. Pull out drawer.

• M6 x 16 mm Flat Head Screws (P) (Qty: 1)

Process:

1. All metal surfaces are required to be bonded to a grounding connection in accordance with NEC NFPA70.

2. Manage the ground wire and connect it to the drawer frame.

3. Use 14 AWG stranded green insulated wire.

4. Use a M6 x 16 mm flat head screw. Tighten fully. Use the pre-drilled hole location with the ground symbol for grounding location.

5. Terminate the end of the ground wire per local code at the grounding location.

• Check casters periodically for tightness. Casters should be locked when workbench is not being moved.

• Lubricate casters once a year with high-quality bearing grease.

• Lubricate slides semi-annually with general purpose grease.

• The drawer fronts, drawer trim, and other surfaces should be periodically cleaned with a mild detergent and water.

• Auto wax will preserve the unit’s luster finish. Apply the wax as to a car. The wax will also help protect the unit against scratches.

• Grease and oil can be removed with most standard cleaning fluids. For safety, use a nonflammable cleaning fluid.

• It is recommended that drawer liners be used to protect the finish inside the drawers and to make the drawers easier to clean.
