Nevertheless, please be careful and follow the instructions below when using this appliance. • This appliance may be used by children 8 years of age and older and by persons with physical or mental impairments or by inexperienced persons, if they are properly supervised or have been informed about how to use of the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. • Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance performed by the user must not be performed by unsupervised children. • If the power cord is damaged, have an authorised service it in order to prevent hazards. It is forbidden to use the appliance if it has a damaged power cord. • Incorrect use may lead to the risk of injury. Take extreme care when handling the blending beaker, especially the knife unit, as the blades are very sharp. Mishandling the knives may lead to personal injury. • Wash the blender parts that came into contact 2 CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST with food in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry. • Always turn the blender off fi rst. Then disconnect the blender’s power cord from the power supply. Avoid contact with moving parts. • This appliance is not to be used by children. Make sure that the surface is fl at, clean and free of water or other liquid stains. • Do not place the appliance on a gas or electric stove or near it or in a location where it could come into contact with a hot oven. • Do not use the appliance on a metal pad such as a drip sink. 4 CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST • Before connecting your appliance to a power outlet and turning it on, make sure it’s fully and correctly assembled. Follow the instructions provided in this user's manual. • Make sure the appliance is place on a fl at, clean, dry and stable and heat-resistant surface. Do not operate the appliance on an inclined surface and do not move and/or handle it in any manner during operation. • Use only accessories provided with the appliance. Otherwise, there is a risk of fi re, electric shock or injury. • Never turn the appliance on if the appliance itself or some of its accessories are damaged. • With high loads, do not exceed 1 minute of continuous blender operation. Allow the motor to rest for at least 2 minute between each use. Always observe the maximum level line when fi lling. • Do not blend carbonated drinks and they may run high. • If the food gets stuck around the knife unit, press the On / Off button to turn the blender off and wait until the knife unit has come to a complete stop. Never use your fi ngers because the knives are very sharp. • Keep your hands, fi ngers, garments, spoons and other kitchenware out of the appliance during operation. Before removing the lid, always turn the appliance off and unplug the power cord from the socket and wait until the blades have stopped. Avoid contact with moving parts. • During operation, do not remove the container from the body. • Use your blender only for making food and/ or drinks. Do not start the blender with empty beaker or pot. • Do not process hot or boiling food in the blender. Allow them to cool down before pouring into the blender. • Do not expose the blending beaker or the cup to extreme temperatures such as by putting cold container in hot water or vice versa. • Do not put any part of the appliance in a gas, electric or microwave oven or on a hot gas or electric range. • A connected power outlet must be easily 6 CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST accessible for possible sudden disconnection. • Do not use this appliance with a programmable switch, timer switch or any other device that automatically switches the appliance on. • Do not use the appliance near water sources like a kitchen sink, bathroom, swimming pool etc. • Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands. • Do not leave the appliance unattended while in operation. • Avoid spilling water or other fl uid onto the mains cord and plug. • Do not use rough abrasive or caustic detergents to clean the appliance. • Keep your appliance clean. Do not use adapter plugs or extension cords to connect the appliance to a power outlet. • Do not submerge the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. • This appliance is designed for household use only. This appliance is not designed for commercial use. Do not use this appliance in moving vehicles or on boats, outdoors, or for any purpose other than it’s intended. BEFORE FIRST USE Before fi rst use, remove all packaging and advertising labels / stickers from the appliance. Check the appliance and all the accessories for damage. Never use a damaged appliance and/or appliance with damaged accessories, damaged power cord or plug. Wipe the motor base with a soft sponge slightly moistened in warm water. Before fi rst use, wash blending beaker, lid, measuring cup and cups with lids in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry. WARNING! Be very careful when handling the knife unit. The blades are very sharp. Store the knife unit in a safe location out of reach of children. WARNING! To prevent serious injuries or amputation, NEVER insert your fingers or hands in the blending beaker while the blender is in operation. NOTE You can wash blending beaker, lid, measuring cup and drinking lids in the dishwasher’s top basket. ASSEMBLING THE BLENDER AND THE BLENDING BEAKER 1. Place the blender base on stable, fi rm and clean surface. 2. Screw the knife unit onto the beaker bottom. Tighten properly to prevent fl uid leakage. 3. Place the raw materials that you wish to process into the blending beaker. Always observe the maximum level line. 4. Attach the lid. The lid is designed to follow the shape of the beaker’s outer edge. The moulding on the lid should be positioned above the handle. 5. Insert the measuring cup in the lid and turn clockwise to secure it on the lid.

6. Place the blending beaker on the blender base so that the handle points to the right. The blender is all set now. ASSEMBLING THE BLENDER AND THE CUP 1. Place the blender base on stable, fi rm and clean surface. 2. Place the raw materials that you wish to process into the cup. Observe the maximum level line marked on the cup. 3. Screw the knife unit onto the cup. Tighten properly to prevent fl uid leakage from the cup. 4. Turn the cup upside down and insert in on the blender base. The blender is all set now. NOTE To disassemble, perform the procedure in reverse order. NOTE There are two sensors in the blender base that automatically detect if the blending beaker or the cup is attached. Either beaker symbol or cup symbol will light on the display subject to the accessories attached. USING PRE-SET PROGRAMS Your Catler TB 7020 blender is equipped with fi ve preset programs. Each program has its cooking time and speed defi ned. 1. Insert the mains cord plug into a power socket. 2. An acoustic signal will sound, the indicator light will be lit and the display will show the default “vegetable” program. 3. Press + /– to select a preset program. Each press will change the program in the following order: vegetable – smoothy – sauce - masher – auto clean. 4. Press the main power switch to start the blender. The blending time is preset from the factory and cannot be changed - see the table below. 5. As soon as the program is fi nished, the blender will turn off . WARNING! Before turning the blender on, please make sure that the lid is securely attached on the container. Otherwise, food might spring out when the blender in turned on. MANUAL MODE 1. When the default setting appears on the display, press MODE twice until the operating mode icon changes into “manual” and the cooking time icon is lit. 2. Press +/- to set the desired cooking time and press MODE to confi rm.

3. The speed icon will be lit, then press +/- to set the desired speed. You can set the speed between 1 to 9 where “1” ´is the lowest and “9” is the highest speed. 4. Press the main power switch to start the blender. PROGRAM TABLE 5. As soon as the program is fi nished, the blender will turn off .

NOTE The display will turn off automatically when the blending beaker /cup is removed from the base. When you attach the beaker/ cup on the blender, it will light again. USING THE CUPS AND LIDS The TB 7020 Catler blender is supplied with two cups and two handy lids. The lids and cups can be combined as needed. In this way, you will be able to prepare delicious smoothie or other favourite drink in your home comfort and take it away to enjoy it for example at gym or work. The lid sealing and the cup mouth design ensure that your drink will remain fresh for a long time. The double-wall cup is suitable mainly for making cold smoothies and milk shakes in hot summer days as it can keep your drink cold longer. consummation of your favourite smoothie or milk shake.

ADDING RAW MATERIALS Adding raw materials is only possible when using the blending beaker. If you need to add raw materials while blending you can carefully remove the measuring cup and add your raw materials through the lid opening. Nevertheless, we recommend to turn the blender completely off before removing the measuring cup to prevent food from springing out from the container. NOTE If the food gets stuck around the knife unit, press the main power switch to turn the blender off and wait until the knife unit has come to a complete stop. Then, unplug the power cord from the socket and use a spoon or a spatula to remove the food. Never use your fi ngers or hands because the knives are very sharp. WARNING! Never blend boiling or hot foods. This may lead to underpressure creation inside the beaker, causing the content to spring out when opening the lid. WARNING! Otherwise, burns might occur. Always allow the food to cool down to about 45°C. Never start the blender without the lid and the measuring cup attached. AUTO SHUT-OFF The appliance will automatically turn off after about 3 minutes of inactivity. Press the main power switch to turn the blender on. SAFETY THERMAL FUSE Your blender is equipped with safety thermal fuse to protect the motor from damage. If you put excessive load on the blender, such as processing a higher amount of raw materials for a prolonged period of time, automatic safety thermal fuse will trip to stop the motor. In such case, turn the blender off by the main switch and unplug the mains cord from the power outlet. Allow the blender to cool down for about 15 minutes. Then insert the power plug into a power outlet and turn the blender on. If the blender malfunctions, stop using it and contact your authorized Catler service centre.

FOOD MAKING TIPS AND TECHNIQUES Cut the food into same-sized pieces of approx. 2.5 cm. This will speed up the preparation process. Pour the liquids fi rst, then add solid raw materials. Always observe the maximum level line both on the blending beaker and the cups. If you need to process bigger amounts of food, always separate them to smaller portions. NEVER mix any the following food in the blender: bones, large pieces of frozen food, thick and hard food, kernels, stones etc. Otherwise, the blender might get irreparably damaged. WARNING! Follow the instructions provided in this user's manual. Otherwise, the blender might get damaged, leading to property damage or personal injuries. WARNING! Do not process dry food without liquids. This blender is not designed to process dry food only.

CARE AND CLEANING Before cleaning the appliance, always disconnect the plug of the power cord from the mains socket and let it to cool down properly. It is necessary to clean the blender immediately after each use to prevent possible drying of food residues in the beaker, on the knife unit, lid or inside the measuring cup. Regular maintenance will prolong the lifetime of your blender. WARNING! DO NOT WASH THE APPLIANCE, POWER CORD AND PLUG UNDER RUNNING WATER AND DO NOT IMMERSE IT IN WATER OR ANYOTHER LIQUID. DISASSEMBLING THE MIXER 1. Unplug the power cord from the mains outlet and wait until knife unit has come to a complete stop. 2. Carefully remove the blending beaker / cup from the blender base. 3. To remove the lid from the blending beaker, hold the handle with your hand and press the moulding on the lid with your thumb. This will release the lid and you can easily remove it from the beaker. 4. Turn the cup with the knife unit upward and carefully unscrew the knife unit. WARNING! Be careful while handling the container with hot raw materials inside. Carefully remove the lid as hot steam may escape while opening. There is a danger of a burns. CLEANING THE LID, MEASURING CUP, CUPS AND DRINKING LIDS Wash the accessories under hot running water after use to remove the dirt. To clean more thoroughly, wash the lid and the measuring cup in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid. Rinse and wipe dry. CLEANING HE BLENDING BEAKER Wash the blending beaker under hot running water after use to remove the dirt. Pour about 500ml of warm water in the blending beaker with a small amount of washing-up liquid. Attach the lid and the measuring cup and then attach the assembly on the blender base. Select the Auto Clean program and start with the main switch. Allow the blender to fi nish the program.

CARE AND CLEANING 17 Rinse the beaker out in clean water then and wipe dry. Handle the blending beaker with care. Do not expose the beaker to extreme temperatures, pressure etc. CLEANING THE CUP Rinse the cup under hot running water after use. Then, fi ll the cup about halfway with warm water. Screw on the knife unit and attach the blender base. Do not use any kitchen washing-up liquid. Select the Auto Clean program and start with the main switch. Allow the blender to fi nish the program. Carefully unscrew the knife unit and rinse under clean hot water. Dry clean. NOTE You can wash the blending beaker with its lid, the cups and drinking lids in the dishwasher’s top basket. ATTENTION: Do not use sharp objects, chemicals, thinners, petrol or other similar substances. Never clean your table blender with a steam appliance. STORAGE Before storing, make sure that all parts are clean and dry. Store your blender in a horizontal position in a dry and well ventilated place. Do not place any objects on your blender. Always make sure that the knife unit is stored out of children’s reach. 18 CARE AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF USED PACKAGING MATERIALS Dispose of packaging material at a public waste disposal site. DISPOSAL OF USED ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES The meaning of the symbol on the product, its accessory or packaging indicates that this product shall not be treated as household waste. Please, dispose of this product at your applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical & electronic equipment waste. Alternatively in some states of the European Union or other European states you may return your products to your local retailer when buying an equivalent new product. The correct disposal of this product will help save valuable natural resources and help in preventing the potential negative impact on the environment and human health, which could be caused as a result of improper liquidation of waste. Please ask your local authorities or the nearest waste collection centre for further details. The improper disposal of this type of waste may fall subject to national regulations for fi nes. For business entities in the European Union If you wish to dispose of an electrical or electronic device, request the necessary information from your seller or supplier.
