Always charge the product before use.

To charge the light unit:

1. Connect the USB cable to the Micro USB port on the light unit.

2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a PC or a USB battery charger.

The switch acts as an indicator:

– When charging, the indicator will show a series of dots (……).

– When charging is completed, the indicator will be solidly lit.

The standard charging time is approximately 3 hours when using USB 2.0. Charging time is an approximate value and will vary depending on environmental and usage conditions.

WARNING!!!

• Check periodically to ensure that the light unit is attached securely. Do not use a damaged rubber band.

• Always pay attention to the remaining battery power by checking the indicator periodically while using.

CAUTION!

• Stop your bicycle to operate the switch.

• Do not place it within children’s reach.

• This unit is not totally waterproof. Please wipe and dry it completely after using in rain. Otherwise, it may cause failure.

• If the light unit or parts become dirty with mud, etc., clean with a soft cloth which is moistened with mild soap. Never apply paint thinner, benzine or alcohol; damage will result.

Cautions on recharging:

• We recommend using a 500+mAh (USB2.0) USB battery charger.

• Avoid charging in direct sunlight or in a vehicle parked under direct sunlight, and make sure to charge only when the ambient temperature is between 41°F and 104 °F (5 and 40°C).

• Before charging, be sure that no dust or other foreign objects are attached to the USB plug.

• Do not subject the light to vibrations while charging.

• When your PC is in sleep state, the unit cannot be charged.

• Once charging is complete, be sure to disconnect the USB plug.

• Charging time is an approximate value, and will vary depending on the environmental and usage conditions.

Cautions in use:

• Charging, discharging, and storing in high temperatures will cause the rechargeable battery to deteriorate faster. Do not place the light inside a vehicle or near a heater.

• If the illumination time is significantly reduced even after proper charging, the rechargeable battery may be nearing the end of its service life. Dispose of the battery as described in “Cautions for dispose”.

Cautions on storage:

• Cool and dry storage is recommended.

• For long period storage, it is important to charge the battery for 30 minutes every 6 months.

Cautions for dispose:

• When disposing of the light unit, please do so in accordance with your local regulations.

To mount the light unit:

1. Hook the rubber band onto one side of the light unit.

2. Wrap the rubber band around the mounting position (e.g., seatpost, handlebar) and hook it onto the other side of the light unit.

Ensure to attach it securely in the mounting position. The suitable diameter for mounting is Ø12 – 32 mm.

Shade the light with the sticker if you are dazzled. This is for the front model (clear lens) only.

For posts with a more acute angle, use the rubber base for Sharp Aero. This option is for the rear model (red lens) only. Place the rubber base between the light unit and the mounting surface before securing with the rubber band.

To mount using Spacer X:

1. Attach the Spacer X to the back of the light unit.

2. Hook the rubber band onto one side of the light unit (over the Spacer X).

3. Wrap the rubber band around the mounting position and hook it onto the other side of the light unit.

Alternatively, you can use the Bracket and Clip with the Spacer X:

1. Attach the Spacer X to the back of the light unit.

2. Attach the Bracket to the Spacer X.

3. Secure the Bracket to the mounting position using the rubber band.

4. Slide the Clip onto the Bracket if needed for alternative mounting.

Press and hold the switch to turn the light ON or OFF.

Click the switch to cycle through the different lighting modes.

When the remaining battery power is low, the lighting mode switch starts flashing and the lighting mode changes to flash. Charge the light as soon as possible.
