The THRESH LED lights up when the compressor is active and flickers when the input signal reaches the compressor threshold set by the COMP knob.

COMP knob controls the amount of compression applied by the internal compressor. Rotate the knob clockwise for a more compressed sound. When the knob is set fully counter-clockwise, no compression will be applied.
