After every use, clean the microphone with a dry, soft cloth tissue and store it in a solid case or a zipper pouch.

• Always aim the microphone directly at the sound source to achieve a clean, focused sound with maximum gain before feedback.

• Keep in mind the proximity effect: the closer the sound source is to the microphone, the more low-frequency (bass) response you’ll get. This can enhance warmth in vocals when used intentionally.

• Use one microphone per sound source whenever possible. Fewer microphones on stage help reduce the chance of feedback and improve overall clarity.

• Position the microphone behind the PA speakers to minimize the risk of feedback during live performances.

• When using multiple microphones (e.g., for a choir), follow the 3:1 rule: place microphones at least three times the distance from each other as they are from their respective sound sources. This helps prevent phase issues and reduces feedback.
