To reduce the risk of death by electric shock when using the BEURER HC 35, always keep the device away from water. Electrical parts are live even when the switch is off. Follow these safety measures:

Always unplug the device immediately after use.

Do not use the hair dryer while bathing.

Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.

Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.

If the BEURER HC 35 falls into water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water. First switch off the fuse at the fuse box and then pull the power cord plug out of the socket.

If using the device in the bathroom, unplug it after use as proximity to water constitutes a danger even when the dryer is switched off.

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or serious personal injury with the BEURER HC 35:

Never leave the appliance unattended when plugged in.

Close supervision is necessary when used by, on, or near children or individuals with certain disabilities.

Use the BEURER HC 35 only for its intended use as described in the manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.

Never operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped in water.

Keep the cord away from heated surfaces and do not wrap the cord around the appliance.

Never block the air openings or place the device on a soft surface where air openings may be blocked. Keep openings free of lint and hair.

Never use the device while sleeping.

Do not direct hot air toward eyes or other heat sensitive areas.

Attachments may be hot during use; allow them to cool before handling.

The BEURER HC 35 is equipped with an Appliance Leakage Current Interrupter (ALCI) built into the plug. This safety device must be checked every time you use the hair dryer:

1. Press the Reset button on the ALCI safety device.

2. Plug the ALCI into an AC outlet then press the Test button.

3. The Reset button will pop out. This verifies the safety device is operating properly. If the Reset button does not pop out, do not use the unit and return it immediately for service.

4. Press the Reset button again to reactivate the ALCI safety device. The BEURER HC 35 is now ready for use.

Note: If the appliance is immersed in water, do not attempt to reset the ALCI safety device.

Follow these steps to use the BEURER HC 35:

1. Wash your hair as usual and towel dry. Do not use hairspray while using the dryer as it is flammable.

2. Stand on a dry, non-conductive surface and ensure your hands are dry.

3. Press the ON/OFF button to activate. The hair dryer will start on the medium warm air setting, indicated by two red LEDs.

4. Use the warm air button or cold air button to set your preferred level. The LED Indicator shows the current setting.

5. Dry and style your hair as desired.

6. Shut the hair dryer off after use by pressing the Power Button. The LEDs will turn off.

7. Disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.

8. Let the BEURER HC 35 cool completely on a heat-resistant surface before storing it.

To ensure a long service life for the BEURER HC 35, regular cleaning is required:

1. Disconnect the power cord and allow the device to cool completely.

2. Remove the Concentrator Nozzle and the Removable Inlet Guard.

3. Use a soft brush to clean any lint or debris from the guard.

4. Clean the slots and openings for ventilation regularly and ensure they are not blocked to prevent overheating.

5. Do not pull, twist, or bend the power cord, and do not wrap it around the hair dryer.

The BEURER HC 35 has a polarized plug where one blade is wider than the other. This plug is designed to fit into a polarized outlet in only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
