Please follow these general safety instructions when using your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer:

• The dryer can be used by children at and above 8 years old and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.

• Do not remove the adjustable feet. The gap between the dryer and the floor should not be reduced with materials like carpet, wood, or tape.

• Installation and repairing procedures must always be carried out by the Authorized Service.

• Never wash the dryer by spraying or pouring water onto it, as this poses a risk of electric shock.

• Never attempt to repair the dryer yourself.

• Ensure there is not a lockable, sliding, or hinged door that could block the loading door opening where the dryer is installed.

• Install the dryer in a location suitable for home use (e.g., bathroom, closed balcony, garage).

• Check that pets do not enter the dryer before operating it.

• Do not lean on the loading door when it is open, as it may fall over.

• Lint must not be allowed to accumulate around the tumble dryer.

• The tumble dryer is not to be used if industrial chemicals have been used for cleaning.

• Use fabric softeners or similar products as specified by their instructions.

• Exhaust air must not be discharged into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.

For BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 models with a steam function, adhere to the following warnings:

• Use only distilled water or water condensed in the machine’s water tank for steam programs. Do not use mains water or additives.

• If using condensed water from the water tank, ensure it is filtered and cleared of fibres.

• Do not open the door while steam programs are running, as hot water may be expelled.

• Before placing laundry in a steam program, any stains on it should be removed.

• Only put laundry that is not dirty or stained but has an unpleasant odour into the steam (odour removal) program.

• Do not use any dry cleaning sets or additional materials in a steam program or any other program.

Follow these electrical safety instructions during the installation and use of your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer:

• The appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by a utility.

• Connect the dryer to a grounded outlet protected by a fuse of the value specified on the type label. The grounding installation must be performed by a qualified electrician.

• The voltage specified on the type label must match your mains voltage.

• Do not use extension cords, multi-plugs, or adaptors to connect the dryer to the power supply.

• The power cable plug must be easily accessible after installation.

• If the mains cable is damaged, it must be changed by notifying the Authorized Service.

• Unplug the dryer when it is not in use, and during installation, maintenance, cleaning, and repair work.

• Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Never unplug by pulling on the cable; always pull out by grabbing the plug.

• If the dryer is faulty, it must not be operated until it is repaired by an authorized service agent.

To ensure product safety, please note the following:

• Superheating of clothes inside the dryer can occur if you cancel the programme or in the event of a power failure while the dryer is running. This concentration of heat can cause self-combustion and fire. Therefore, always activate the ventilation programme to cool down or quickly remove all laundry from the dryer to hang them up and dissipate the heat.

• Underwear with metal reinforcements should not be dried in the dryer, as they can come loose and damage the machine.

• Always clean the lint filter before or after each load. Never operate the dryer without the lint filter installed.

To prevent the risk of fire, the following items must not be dried in your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer:

• Unwashed laundry items.

• Items soiled with oil, acetone, alcohol, fuel oil, kerosene, stain removers, turpentine, paraffin, or paraffin removers. These must be washed in hot water with plenty of detergent before drying.

• Garments or pillows bolstered with rubber foam (latex foam).

• Shower bonnets.

• Water-resistant textiles.

• Materials with rubber reinforcement and rubber foam pads.

• Clothing cleaned with industrial chemicals.

Additionally, check all laundry for items like lighters, matches, coins, metal parts, or needles, as these can damage the drum. Never stop the dryer before the programme completes. If you must, remove all laundry quickly and lay it out to dissipate the heat.

Yes, but a special fixing device must be used between the two machines, and it must be installed by an authorized service agent. The total weight of both machines with a full load is approximately 180 kilograms, so they must be placed on a solid floor with sufficient load-carrying capacity. A washing machine cannot be placed on top of the dryer.

The BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer has been designed for domestic use. It is not suitable for commercial use and must only be used for drying laundry that is marked as suitable for drying. The manufacturer waives any responsibility arising from incorrect usage or transportation. The service life of the dryer is 10 years.

Please observe the following child safety measures:

• Keep packaging materials away from children as they are dangerous.

• Electrical products are dangerous for children. Keep children away from the product when it is operating and do not let them tamper with it.

• The BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer is equipped with a child-proof lock on the control panel to prevent children from tampering with the dryer. (See “Child Lock” for activation instructions).

• Keep the loading door closed even when the dryer is not in use.

Before installation, visually check the dryer for defects. If it is damaged, do not have it installed. Let your dryer wait for 12 hours before first use.

For the installation location:

• Install the dryer on a stable and level surface.

• Operate the dryer in a well-ventilated, dust-free environment.

• The gap between the dryer and the floor should not be reduced by materials like carpet, wood, or tape.

• Do not cover the ventilation grills of the dryer.

• Ensure there is no lockable, sliding, or hinged door that could block the loading door opening.

• Once installed, it should stay in the same place. Ensure the rear wall does not touch anything (e.g., tap, socket).

• Place the dryer at least 1 cm away from the edges of other furniture.

• The operating temperature range is between +5°C and +35°C. Operation outside this range will adversely affect performance.

• The rear surface of the dryer should be placed against a wall.

• Do not place the dryer on the power cable.

You can directly drain the accumulated water through the water drain hose instead of manually emptying the water tank. To connect the drain hose:

1. Pull the hose at the back of the dryer by hand to disconnect it from where it is connected. Do not use any tools.

2. Connect one end of the drain hose (supplied with the dryer) to the connection point where you just removed the original hose.

3. Connect the other end of the drain hose directly to a wastewater drain or washbasin.

Important Notes:

• The water drain hose should be attached at a maximum height of 80 cm.

• Ensure the hose is not stepped on or folded between the drain and the machine.

To ensure your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer operates quietly and without vibration, it must be level and balanced on its feet. Turn the feet to the left or right until the dryer stands level and firmly on the floor.

Before transporting the BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer, drain all the water that has remained inside. If a direct water drain connection is made, remove the hose connections. It is recommended to carry the dryer in an upright position. If this is not possible, carry it by tilting it towards the right side when looking from the front.

It is normal to hear certain sounds from your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer during operation:

• A metallic noise from the compressor may be heard sometimes during operation. This is normal.

• Water collected during the cycle is pumped to the water tank. It is normal to hear a pumping noise during this process.

To prepare your laundry for drying:

• Always check the garment tags to ensure they are suitable for drying in a dryer and select the appropriate program.

• Separate laundry items that may have tangled during washing.

• Dry garments with metal accessories, like zippers, inside out.

• Fasten all zippers, hooks, buckles, and button sheets.

• Delicate embroidered fabrics, woollen, silk garments, delicate and valuable fabrics, airtight items and tulle curtains are not suitable for machine drying.

To save energy and shorten drying times, follow these tips:

• Spin your laundry at the highest possible speed in your washing machine before drying.

• Sort laundry by type and thickness. Dry similar types of laundry together (e.g., thin kitchen towels will dry faster than thick bathroom towels).

• Follow the program selection instructions in the user manual.

• Do not open the loading door during drying unless necessary. If you must open it, do not keep it open for a long time.

• Do not add wet laundry while the dryer is in operation.

• For condenser models, clean the condenser once a month or after every 30 operations.

• Clean the lint filter periodically.

• Ensure the room where the dryer is operating is well-ventilated.

Follow the instructions in the “Programme selection and consumption table” and do not load more than the capacity values stated. The maximum capacity is 7 kg of dry laundry. Below are approximate weights for common laundry items to help you estimate your load size.

The control panel on your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer has the following components:

1. Program Selection button: Used to select the desired drying program.

2. Display: Shows program status and settings.

3. On-Off button: Turns the dryer on and off.

4. Start/Stand-by button: Starts or pauses the selected program.

5. End Time button: Sets a delayed end time for the program.

6. Time Programs Adjusting button: Adjusts the duration for time-based programs.

7. Audio Warning Level button: Adjusts the volume of the end-of-cycle buzzer.

8. Dryness Settings Selection button: Adjusts the desired final dryness level of the laundry.

Energy consumption values

“Cottons Eco programme” used at full and partial load is the standard drying programme to which the information in the label and the fiche relates, that this programme is suitable for drying normal wet Cottons laundry and that it is the most efficient programme in terms of energy consumption for Cottons.

Audible Warning

The machine makes an audible warning when a program is completed. To adjust the sound level (low or high), use the Sound Warning Level button. You can change the sound level before the program starts or while it is running.

Dryness Settings Selection

The Dryness settings button is used to adjust the laundry to the desired dryness level (damp, normal, or extra). The program time may change depending on your selection. You can only activate this function before the program starts.

Your BEKO DS 7534 CSRX1 dryer will display warning symbols to alert you to required maintenance or issues:

• Fibre filter cleaning (symbol of a filter): Turns on when the program is completed to remind you to clean the fibre filter.

• Emptying the water tank (symbol of a water droplet in a tank): Turns on when the program is completed to remind you to empty the water tank. If it flashes during a cycle, the tank is full, and the program will pause. Empty the tank and press Start/Stand-by to resume.

• Cleaning the filter drawer (symbol of a filter with dots below): Flashes periodically to remind you that the filter drawer (condenser/evaporator) must be cleaned.

• Loading cover is open: If the loading door is open while drying, the Stand-by symbol will turn on and the program progress symbol will flash.

You can delay the end time of the program by up to 24 hours. To set a delayed end time:

1. Open the loading door and place the laundry inside.

2. Select the drying program and any additional functions.

3. Press the End Time selection button to set the desired delay time. The End Time symbol will turn on.

4. Press the Start/Stand-by button. The countdown will begin.

To cancel the end time function and start the program immediately, press the On/Off/Cancel button for 3 seconds, then press the Start/Stand-by button to start your previously selected program.

The child lock prevents the program from being interrupted if buttons are pressed during a cycle.

To activate the Child Lock:

Press and hold the time programs and audio warning buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The lock symbol will appear on the screen.

To deactivate the Child Lock:

Press and hold the same two buttons for 3 seconds. The Child Lock also deactivates when the dryer is turned off and on via the On/Off/Cancel button. When the child lock is active, the letters “CL” will flash on the screen if any function buttons are pressed.

You can change the program after the machine starts running. For example, to switch from “Iron Dry” to “Extra Dry”:

1. Pause the program by pressing the Start/Stand-by button.

2. Turn the Program Selection knob to select the new program (e.g., Extra Dry).

3. Press the Start/Stand-by button to start the new program.

To add or remove laundry after the drying program has started:

1. Press the Start/Stand-by button to put the machine in the Stand-by state. The drying operation will stop.

2. Open the loading door. Be careful, as the inner surface of the drum will be hot.

3. Add or remove laundry, then close the door.

4. Press the Start/Stand-by button to resume the program.

Note: Adding laundry after the operation starts may cause dried laundry to mix with wet laundry, resulting in damp clothes at the end of the cycle. This action also increases program duration and energy consumption.

To cancel the program and terminate the drying operation for any reason after the machine starts running, press and hold the On/Off/Cancel button for 3 seconds. When you cancel a program during operation, the inside of the machine will be extremely hot, so you should run the ventilation program to allow it to cool down.

After each drying cycle, clean the fibre filter and the inner surface of the loading door. Hair and fibres separated from the laundry are collected in the fibre filter.

To clean the fibre filter:

1. Open the loading door.

2. The fibre filter is a two-part filter. Hold the first part (inner filter) and remove it by pulling it upwards.

3. Collect the hair, fibres, and cotton balls by hand or with a soft cloth.

4. Remove the second part (outer filter) by pulling it upwards.

5. Collect the hair, fibres, and cotton balls from this part as well.

6. If needed, clean both filters under running water in the reverse direction of fibre accumulation or with a soft brush. Dry the filter before placing it back.

7. Insert the fibre filters back into one another and place them back in their housing.

You can also clean the filter slot with a vacuum cleaner. Ensure no hair, fibre, or cotton balls fall into the slot where the filters are installed.

There are dampness sensors in the dryer that detect whether the laundry is dry. To clean the sensors:

1. Open the loading door of the dryer.

2. Allow the machine to cool down if it is still hot from a drying process.

3. Wipe the metal surfaces of the sensor with a soft cloth, dampened with vinegar, and then dry them.

It is recommended to clean the metal surfaces of the sensors 4 times a year. Do not use metal tools when cleaning them.

Dampness from the laundry is condensed during the drying process, and the resulting water accumulates in the water tank. You must drain the water tank after each drying cycle.

1. Carefully remove the water tank from its drawer or container.

2. Drain the water in the tank.

3. If there is lint accumulation in the funnel of the water tank, clean it under running water.

4. Place the water tank back into its seat.

Warning: The condensed water is not drinkable. Never remove the water tank when a program is running.

Clean the evaporator when the evaporator icon flashes or every 6 months. Hair and fibres not caught by the filter accumulate on the evaporator fins behind the toe board.

1. Open the toe board by pressing on it.

2. Move the release latch to open the air routing door.

3. Clean the fibres on the evaporator fins with a damp cloth or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment by moving upwards and downwards. Wear protective gloves, as evaporator fins can be sharp. Do not clean with left-to-right movements as this may damage the fins.

4. After cleaning, place the air router door back in its place, move the latches to close it, and then close the toe board.

If the drying time is longer than usual, check the following:

• Clogged fibre filter pores: Wash the fibre filters with warm water and dry them.

• Clogged evaporator: Clean the front side of the evaporator.

• Blocked ventilation grills: Remove any object blocking the ventilation grills at the front of the machine.

• Inadequate ventilation: If the room is too small, open a door or window to prevent the room temperature from rising too high.

• Lime layer on humidity sensor: Clean the humidity sensor.

• Excessive laundry load: Do not overload the dryer.

• Laundry not wrung adequately: Perform a higher speed wringing cycle in your washing machine before drying.

If your dryer won’t turn on or start, please check these possible causes:

• Power plug is unplugged: Make sure the power cord is securely plugged in.

• Loading door is open: Ensure the loading door is properly closed.

• Program not set or Start button not pressed: Check that a program is selected and the Start/Pause/Cancel button has been pressed.

• Child lock is activated: Turn off the child lock.

If the water tank warning symbol is active, it could mean:

• The water tank is full: Empty the water tank.

• The water discharge hose has collapsed: If the product is connected directly to a water drain, check the water discharge hose for kinks or blockages.

If the fibre filter cleaning icon is lit, it could be for several reasons:

• The fibre filter may be unclean: This icon lights up after every cycle as a reminder. Wash the filters with warm water and dry them.

• A layer has formed on the filter pores causing clogging: Wash the filters with warm water and dry them thoroughly.

• The fibre filters are not inserted: Ensure both the interior and exterior filters are correctly inserted into their places.

If the evaporator warning icon is flashing, it indicates one of the following issues:

• The front of the evaporator may be clogged with fibres: Clean the front side of the evaporator.

• The fibre filters may not be inserted: Insert the interior and exterior filters correctly into their places.
