The BABYLISS 7235U is a professional grade rechargeable trimmer with the following features:

Attachment Heads:

• Precision Trimmer (0.5mm) with titanium blade technology, a 5-position comb guide (3-15mm), and 3 jawline blending combs (3mm, 5mm & 7mm).

• Body Groomer (0.5mm) with a 5-position comb guide (3-15mm).

• Detail Trimmer for creating lines and effects in the hair.

• Nose & Ear Trimmer for safe removal of unwanted hair.

• Foil Shaver for a clean, smooth finish.

Functions & Accessories:

• Taper control for super fine cut adjustment (0.5-1.5mm).

• Turbo boost for increased power.

• Beard and moustache comb.

Inserting the Adaptor Cord into the Stand:

1. Remove the trimmer and accessories from the stand.

2. Insert the adaptor plug into the hole on the base of the stand and push firmly into position.

3. Route the cord through the channel on the base of the stand and secure it in place.

4. If you wish to charge the appliance without using the stand, you can plug the adaptor directly into the main trimmer unit.

Charging the Appliance:

1. Before using for the first time, the BABYLISS 7235U should be fully charged continuously for 16 hours. This initial super-charge ensures optimum power performance.

2. A full charge will provide approximately 30 minutes of use.

3. Ensure the appliance is switched off.

4. Insert the appliance into the charging and storage stand.

5. The charging indicator light will illuminate when the appliance is correctly inserted into the stand and connected to the mains.

To maintain the optimum capacity of the rechargeable batteries in your BABYLISS 7235U, the trimmer should be fully discharged and then recharged for 16 hours every 3 months.

Before each use of your BABYLISS 7235U, please follow these preparation steps:

• Always inspect the appliance for noticeable signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.

• Ensure the heads are free from hair and debris and that the blades are properly oiled.

• Ensure the appliance is sufficiently charged.

• Use on clean, dry hair that has been combed until it is tangle-free.

1. Before changing heads, ensure the appliance is switched off.

2. To remove a head: Hold the handle of the appliance with one hand, hold the head with the other hand, and pull the head back and away from the front of the handle.

3. To attach a head: The driving pin on the handle needs to be in a central position. If it is not, manually move the pin into the center. Then, making sure the base of the head is seated in the handle, click the head into position.

The taper control on your BABYLISS 7235U is a 3-position switch on the rear of the handle that allows for super fine cut adjustment. Note: This function can only be used with the Precision Trimmer and Body Groomer heads.

• For the shortest cutting length of 0.5mm, the number 3 should be visible below the taper control switch.

• To increase the length by 0.5mm to a cutting length of 1mm, slide the switch down so the number 2 is visible above the taper control switch.

• To increase the length by a further 0.5mm to a cutting length of 1.5mm, slide the switch down so both numbers 1 and 2 are visible above the taper control switch.

The Precision Trimmer can be used with or without comb guides for different styles.

Using with the 5-Position Comb Guide (3-15mm):

1. Attach the Precision Trimmer head and then slide the smaller 5-position comb guide onto the front, pushing down at the rear to lock it in place.

2. The guide has 5 length settings (3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm & 15mm). To adjust, push the button and click the guide forward. If using multiple lengths, start with the longest first.

3. Adjust the taper control as required.

4. Switch the trimmer on and hold it with the teeth pointing upwards, yet flat against the skin. Move the trimmer upwards and outward, against the direction of hair growth.

Using with Jaw Line Blending Combs (3mm, 5mm, 7mm):

1. Attach the desired jaw line comb over the trimmer head and click it into position.

2. Start with the longest length first (7mm) if you require more than one cutting length.

3. Switch the trimmer on and move it upwards and outwards through the hair you wish to blend.

To Outline:

1. Use the Precision Trimmer without any comb guide attached.

2. Hold the trimmer upside down with the blade facing downwards, yet flat against the skin.

3. Move the trimmer gently downwards in small strokes around the edge of the area you wish to outline.

4. Once the outline is defined, hold the trimmer with blades pointing upwards, flat against the skin, and move it upwards against the direction of hair growth to trim unwanted hair adjacent to the outline.

General Tips:

• For increased performance in thicker hair, press and hold the turbo button.

• Never switch the appliance off whilst in the hair.

• Without any comb guides, the Precision Trimmer will cut to a length of approximately 0.5mm.

1. Attach the Body Groomer head to your BABYLISS 7235U.

2. Attach the larger of the 5-position comb guides and select your required length (3-15mm). To adjust the length, push the button and click the guide forward.

3. Adjust the taper control as required for fine-tuning the cut.

4. Switch the trimmer on.

5. Hold the trimmer with the teeth pointing upwards, yet flat against the skin.

6. Move the trimmer upwards and outward through the hair, against the direction of hair growth. Be particularly careful when trimming sensitive areas.

7. For thicker hair, press and hold the turbo button for increased trimming performance.

8. Never switch the appliance off whilst in the hair.

Note: The Body Groomer can be used without any comb guides and will cut roughly to a length of 0.5mm.

1. For an ultra-smooth finish, attach the foil shaver head.

2. Always ensure the foil is not damaged before each use.

3. Switch the trimmer on.

4. Move the shaver gently over the skin, applying minimal pressure and shaving in the direction of hair growth.

5. Be particularly careful when trimming sensitive areas.

6. For increased performance on thicker hair, press and hold the turbo button.

7. Never switch the appliance off whilst in the hair.

Note: The taper control function cannot be used with the Foil Shaver attachment. Slide the switch down so both 1 and 2 are visible above the switch.

1. For safe and easy removal of unwanted nose and ear hair, attach the rotary trimmer head.

2. Switch the trimmer on.

3. Insert the trimmer into the nose or ear and gently move it in a circular motion.

4. Only use the trimmer at the entrance to the ear or nose. Do not use any deeper, as this could cause injury.

5. For thicker areas of hair, press and hold the turbo button for increased power.

6. Never turn the trimmer off whilst in the nose and ear hair.

Note: The taper control function cannot be used with the Nose & Ear Trimmer attachment. Slide the switch down so both 1 and 2 are visible above the switch.

1. For accurate tramlines and detailed effects, attach the Detail Trimmer head.

2. Switch the trimmer on.

3. Gently move the blade through the area of hair you wish to trim.

4. For increased trimming performance on thicker hair, press and hold the turbo button.

5. Never turn the trimmer off whilst in the hair.

Note: The taper control function cannot be used with the Detail Trimmer attachment. Slide the switch down so both 1 and 2 are visible above the switch.

To maintain optimum performance, the appliance should be cleaned after each use:

1. Remove the comb guide. Rinse it under running water and dry thoroughly before storage or use.

2. Remove the trimmer head. The heads are washable for easy cleaning. Rinse under running water and dry thoroughly.

3. Do not disassemble the blades.

4. Periodically, it may be necessary to oil the blades. After cleaning, attach a trimmer head, switch it on, and apply a few drops of the supplied lubricating oil to the blades. Only use the oil supplied as it is specifically formulated for high-speed trimmers.

Please follow these safety cautions when using your BABYLISS 7235U:

• Polythene bags over the product or packaging may be dangerous. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep away from babies and children.

• Keep the charging/storage stand away from vessels containing water or other liquids.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Do not connect the appliance to the mains with wet hands.

• Always inspect the appliance for damage before use. Do not use if damaged or if the appliance has been dropped.

• Do not use the appliance if the lead is damaged.

• Only use the charging storage stand and attachments supplied with this appliance.

• Always unplug the appliance once fully charged.

• Do not leave the appliance unattended when switched on or place it on any surface whilst in operation.

• Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this product.

• Special care is required when using the appliance near the ears, eyes, face, neck or other sensitive areas of the body.

• Always switch off and unplug the appliance when cleaning or when not in use.

• Allow the appliance to cool before storing away.

• After use, do not coil the lead around the appliance as this may cause damage.
