Introduction to Flex FX-I The Flex (FX-I) is a gmverful miniature air rtw.ter that gets into small spaces where standard air movers cannot reach. The Flex FX-I is lightweight (11 lbs) and comes with a built-in handle for easy carrying. Use the Flex FX-1’s versatile design in 3 different angles (horizontally, vertically or 900) to allow air flow in any direction. ****** Page 3 ****** Safety Do not put fingers or other objects in the unit while in operation and or plugged To avoid electric shock, do not operate the unit in pooled water. • The motor must be kept dry at all times, If unit becomes wet, thoroughly dry it before the next operation. Use only a grounded plug or extension cord to avoid risk of electric shock or fire. • Never use a cord showing any kind of damage or wear. Make sure the source is sufficient to meet the requirennents of the air • To prevent the unit from overheating, keep all air intake vents clear at äll times. • Clogging or blocking the air intake vents could result in a fire or electrical hazard. • Do not remove any or safety guards from the unit. • Do not operate the unit dose to any dangerous areas, such as explosive gas, • flammables, heaters and unventilated environments. Do not use aftermarket speed control devices. • Do not use unit if showing damage. • Before cleaning or servidng, unplug the unit. • Unplug unit when not in use. • • Do not allow children to play with or nearthe unit Do not sit or stand on the unit. • Do not operate units in staded position. • Make sure that hands are dry before handling the unit or power cord. • All units must be monitored while in use. Only a qualified electrician should atten-tpt to repair / replace any electrical components. Power Requirements Daisy Chaining The Flex FX-I Air Mover draws 2.6 arnps. The 15 amp on-board circuit breaker will allow four (4) B-Air Flex FX-I Air Movers on one (1) circuit. Resettable Circuit Breaker The thermal response resettable circuit breaker protects the unit and tnnnected daisy chained devices. The circuit breaker designed to sense the total current drawn through the circuit. When more than 15 amps of &ctricity current are drawn through the unit’s power cord, the breaker trips. G.F.C.I. (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protection promotes operator safety during appli- cations. G.F.C.I. devices •trip* when a fault to electrical ground is sensed. A tripped G. F.C,I, can reset only when the unit is to a wall outlet provid- ing standard voltage Reset the tripped G.EC.I. by pressing the “RESET” BUTTON. Cords Use 3 pronged adaptors that are UL and CE approved and no less than 14-3 with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (G-F.C.L)- Do not use cords that show any kind or wear or damage. Cords are not covered by warranty
****** Page 4 ****** Warning! The total amperage of the Flex FX-I Air Mover plus all other devices plugged into the receptacle must not exceed 15 amps. Duct Drying Kit The Flex FX-I cornes with a mounting lip located on the air outlet for the option of attaching the Cub Duct Drying Kit FÜDDK) to the unit Tine Cub Duct Drying Kit mounts onto the FX-1’s air outlet and directs air through a flexible hose for a more concentrated directional air flow, Cub Duct Drying Kit (#CDDK) sold separately. Servicing In order to receive service or replacement parts under warranty, you must: a. Call for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization Number) b. Have proof of purchase Upon inspection, we will advise you of repairs needed and the cost (if appli- cable). B-Air will issue repair or replacement parts depending on warranty. Limited Warranty Warranty covers against defects in material and craftsmanship used under normal intended use to original pure-taser for a term of (1 ) one year from the original date of purchase including parts, labor and I way shipping. Housing is covered for a term of (5) five years from the date of original purchase. Important! Warranty does not cover signs of misuse including, but not limited to rough handling, abuse, tampering, improper voltage use and unauthorized maintenance and repairs-
