What are the LINO series column speakers designed for?
The LINO series are column speakers designed for a wide variety of general-purpose applications in acoustically difficult environments, ranging from speech and announcement applications to background music systems. Typical applications include houses of worship, auditoria, presentation rooms, public transportation hubs, and many more. They are constructed using solid aluminum materials and finished with a rigid, finely perforated front grill.
They are available in two models, LINO4 and LINO10, which differ in length and driver count. Both models consist of 2″ low/mid-frequency drivers with a 1″ central positioned tweeter for high frequencies. They are designed to offer uniform acoustic performance in reverberant venues, reducing echo and microphone feedback to optimize the intelligibility of music and speech.
What are the main safety precautions for this speaker?
ALWAYS KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NEVER THROW THEM AWAY
ALWAYS HANDLE THIS UNIT WITH CARE

What cautions should be observed when connecting the loudspeaker?
USE CABLES OF THE RIGHT GAUGE TO CONNECT THE LOUDSPEAKER
USE CABLES WITH CLEAR COLOR CODING INDICATING THE POLARITY AND MAINTAIN THE SAME POLARITY THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SYSTEM.
ONLY USE THE CORRECT AMPLIFIER OUTPUT VOLTAGE AND IMPEDANCE. EXCEEDING THESE LIMITS COULD CAUSE FIRE OR OTHER FAILURES.
AVOID EXPLOSIONS: DO NOT USE THE SPEAKER AROUND GASOLINE, THINNER OR OTHER COMBUSTIBLES
AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCKS: SWITCH OFF THE AMPLIFIER WHEN CONNECTING THE LOUDSPEAKER
DO NOT USE THE LOUDSPEAKER FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME AT DISTORTED SOUND. THIS COULD CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE.

How do I install the LINO speaker using the mounting bracket?
Every LINO speaker comes delivered with two L-shaped brackets for installation and focusing.
1. The L-shaped brackets have to be fixed to the wall through 2 screws each. The fasteners used should be chosen depending on the mounting surface (e.g., brick, concrete, wood).
2. Once the wall brackets are mounted to the installation position, the speaker should be fixed to the brackets. This is done by inserting both supplied bolts and tightening them.
3. The slot-shaped holes in the brackets allow for vertical directional adjustments, while horizontal adjustments are possible through rotation of the speaker on the brackets.
How do I connect the speaker?
To connect the LINO speaker, the wires coming from the amplifier must be connected to the 6-pin terminal block connector on the rear of the speaker. The appropriate terminals should be used depending on whether the speaker will be used in a low impedance system or a constant voltage (70/100V) system.
For low impedance connections, use the ‘COM’ and ‘8Ω’ (for LINO4) or ’20Ω’ (for LINO10) terminals.
When using in a constant voltage 70/100V system, the power taps can be adjusted in 4 steps (A, B, C, D) by connecting the amplifier’s positive (+) wire to the desired terminal and the negative (-) wire to the ‘COM’ terminal. Each position corresponds with a specific impedance/power setting as shown in the table below:
| Tapping | LINO4 | LINO10 | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100V | 70V | Imp. | 100V | 70V | Imp | |
