3. Plug the other end of the telephone line cord into a wall telephone jack. If you have DSL high-speed Internet service, a DSL filter (not included) is required between the telephone line cord and the wall jack.
4. Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
To install the charger:
1. Plug the power adapter into the power jack on the bottom of the charger.
