The ZEBRA ZD410 Media Adapters Option kit contains the following items:
• One pair of 76.2 mm (3.0 inch) media adapters.
• One pair of 50.8 mm (2.0 inch) media adapters.
• One pair of 38.1 mm (1.5 inch) media adapters.
• An Allen key.
How do I install the media adapters on my ZEBRA ZD410 printer?
To install the media adapters on your ZEBRA ZD410 printer, follow these steps:
Step 1. If the main adapter holders are not installed, place them inside the printer and secure each holder with two screws.
Step 2. To attach or change an adapter, use the provided Allen key to loosen the screw on the adapter holder. The diagram suggests turning it counter-clockwise 1 to 1.25 times.
Step 3. Place the desired size media adapter onto the holder.
Step 4. Ensure the adapter sits completely flush against the holder with no gap.
Step 5. Before tightening, make sure the Allen key is fully inserted and properly engaged in the screw head.
Step 6. Tighten the screw clockwise. The recommended torque is 0.53 +/- 0.11 NM (4.7 inch*lb). The diagram also indicates turning it 1 to 1.25 times.
Step 7. Repeat these steps for the other media adapter holder.
