How do I use the UP button?
Press the UP button to set the desired temperature. If you are in a MENU mode, press the UP button to navigate the screen up.
How do I use the DOWN button?
Press the DOWN button to set the desired temperature. If you are in a MENU mode, press the DOWN button to navigate the screen down.
How do I use the MENU button?
Press the MENU button to get into the MENU for setting. Use the UP or DOWN button to navigate. To set your desire, press the MENU button, then use the UP or DOWN button. Refer to your Instruction Manual for additional details.
How do I use the RETURN button?
Press the RETURN button to activate or go back to the previous setting.
Optional: The RETURN button can be used for BLOWER, JET or AUX.
How do I operate the Spa Light?
Press the LIGHT button to turn the Spa Light ON. Press the LIGHT button again to turn the Spa Light OFF.
Optional functions:
a. ON/OFF: Press the LIGHT button once, the Spa Light turns ON, press it again, the Spa Light turns OFF.
b. Dimmable: There are five different steps to adjust brightness.
c. Color LED: This feature is available with J&J Electronics, Sloan or Rising Dragon junction box only.
How do I operate a 2-speed JET?
Press the FUNCTION button. The FUNCTION turns ON/OFF or ON at low speed, ON at high speed, then OFF for a 2-speed JET.
What are the default timeout settings and can they be changed?
The default timeout settings are:
Spa LIGHT: 60 minutes
BLOWER: 15 minutes
JET at low speed: 60 minutes
JET at high speed: 15 minutes
The user can change these default times in the DEVICE TIMEOUT setting menu.
What does a “Plumbing Error” message mean and how do I fix it?
This error is caused when SENSOR 1 and SENSOR 3 have been plugged in incorrectly. To correct this problem, swap the SENSOR 1 and SENSOR 3 plug in the controller. You should also check the SENSOR 1 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
What does an “Insufficient Flow” error mean and how do I resolve it?
This error is caused by no water flow through the heater or no water in the heater. Check to be sure there is enough water flow through the heater. You may also need to check the SENSOR 1 connection or replace SENSOR 1. Press RETURN to clear the message.
What should I do for a “Low Flow” error?
Check to be sure there is enough water flow through the heater. You should also check the SENSOR 2 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
What does a “Water Overheat” message mean?
This message indicates the water temperature is too high (e.g., 110F / 43C). Wait for the water temperature to cool down. You can also check the SENSOR 2 connection or replace SENSOR 2. Press RETURN to clear the message.
What does a “Heater Overheat” message mean?
This message indicates the heater is too hot (e.g., 118F / 48C). Wait for the water temperature to cool down. Check to be sure there is enough water flow through the heater. You can also check the SENSOR 3 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
What does the “Potential Freeze” error mean?
This error is caused when SENSOR 1, 2, or 3 detects a low temperature. All JETS and BLOWERS will turn on automatically to protect plumbing from freezing. The JETS and BLOWERS will shut down when all 3 SENSORS reach a desired temperature. You can check the SENSOR 3 connection or replace SENSOR 3. Press RETURN to clear the message.
How do I fix a “Sensor 1 open” error?
Check SENSOR 1 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
How do I fix a “Sensor 1 short” error?
Check SENSOR 1 connection or replace SENSOR 1. Press RETURN to clear the message.
How do I fix a “Sensor 2 open” error?
Check SENSOR 2 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
How do I fix a “Sensor 2 short” error?
Check SENSOR 2 connection or replace SENSOR 2. Press RETURN to clear the message.
How do I fix a “Sensor 3 open” error?
Check SENSOR 3 connection. Press RETURN to clear the message.
