To perform a quick start (Auto Time Set) for your SHARP ACCUSET SPC452, follow these steps:

1. Turn the clock over & remove the battery door.

2. Using the TIME ZONE switch, move the marker to your time zone: Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii.

3. Slide the DST switch ON (depending if it applies to your area).

4. Insert 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment following the polarity symbols within the compartment.

5. The Clock will fast-forward to the correct time.

To set the alarm on your SHARP ACCUSET SPC452, please follow these instructions:

1. At the back of the clock, slide the LOCK switch to TIME before setting the alarm.

2. At the top of the clock, press the ALARM SET button; the hour digit will be flashing.

3. Press the UP or DOWN button to advance to the correct hour.

4. Press the ALARM SET button again; the minute digit will be flashing.

5. Press the UP or DOWN button to advance to the correct minute.

6. Slide the LOCK switch back to LOCK after setting.

To manage the alarm function on your SHARP ACCUSET SPC452:

• Press the ALARM ON/OFF button to activate the alarm. The alarm ON indicator will be lit.

• Press the ALARM ON/OFF button again to deactivate the alarm. The alarm OFF indicator will be lit.

5. The Date will flash. Press SET to confirm.

6. The Language will flash. Press SET to confirm.

7. The Hours will flash. Press SET to confirm.

9. Return to the Battery compartment and slide the TIME Switch to LOCK.

10. Repeat the same procedure for ALARM SET, using the ALARM SET button on top of the clock.

11. Make sure the TIME button is set to SET when setting alarm or time.
