How do I mount the SEC AMERICA 1733 Pump Sentry™ Battery Backup System?
Pump Sentry™ conveniently mounts to the wall or a shelf. It should be mounted at close proximity to a grounded AC outlet, provided the AC cord from the Pump Sentry will reach it.
How do I make the connections for the SEC AMERICA 1733 Pump Sentry™ Battery Backup System?
1) Make sure the On/Off switch is in the OFF position.
2) Connect battery to Pump Sentry™ using supplied cables
3) Plug your Pump into Pump Sentry’s AC outlet.
4) Plug the Pump Sentry into a 120 volt AC outlet.
5) Turn the On/Off switch to ON.
What is the required battery setup for the SEC AMERICA 1733 Pump Sentry™ Battery Backup System?
Only batteries conforming to Battery Council International (BCI) group size 29 or larger are recommended. Only lead acid or AGM batteries are designed for the type of service which Pump Sentry™ requires. INSTALL ONLY deep cycle batteries. The marine-variety is acceptable. DO NOT use car batteries.
Can I connect multiple batteries to the SEC AMERICA 1733 Pump Sentry™ Battery Backup System?
Up to three batteries maybe connected to increase back up time. The connection is made with parallel multiple battery connections.
