The control panel on your MICAN 60413 is equipped with rocker switch buttons that become accessible once the retractable front panel is ejected. Your telescopic hood has a limit switch, so every time you eject the retractable front panel, the hood fan will start at the previously set speed.

The available speeds are:

I – Low speed: Use this speed when cooking food that produces hardly any fumes.

II – Medium speed: Use this speed when cooking multiple dishes at the same time with a moderate amount of fumes.

III – High speed: Use this speed when frying or grilling, which creates a large amount of fumes.

O – Off: This turns the hood fan off. Ejecting the retractable front panel will not start the fan when it is in this position.

Press the light button to turn the lighting on or off. The lighting operates independently of the hood fan. Depending on the model, the limit switch may also turn off the lights when you retract the front panel.

Air extraction operation: When your MICAN 60413 operates in extraction mode, the air is discharged outside through an extraction duct. You must remove the activated charcoal filter for this setting. The hood should be connected to the air outlet using a rigid or flexible extraction duct with a diameter of 150 or 120 mm. This should be installed by a qualified installer.

Operation in air circulation / odour filter mode: In this mode, the filtered air returns to the room through outlets. You must install an activated charcoal filter for this setting. It is also recommended to install an air guide. For telescopic and in-built kitchen hoods operating in this mode, an exhaust duct must be installed with the other end directed to the room to discharge the filtered air.

Regular maintenance and cleaning will ensure trouble-free operation and extend the life of your MICAN 60413. Follow these recommendations:

Do not use a soaked cloth, sponge, or water jet.

Do not use solvents or alcohol, as they may tarnish lacquered surfaces.

Do not use caustic substances, especially for cleaning stainless steel.

Do not use a rough or abrasive cloth.

It is recommended to use a damp cloth and a neutral detergent.

The hood should be cleaned regularly both inside and out (at least once a month).

Grease Filter: For normal hood operation, the grease filter should be cleaned every month. You can clean it in the dishwasher or by hand using a mild detergent or liquid soap. Note that after several washes in a dishwasher, the color of the aluminum filter may change, but this does not indicate a problem or the need for replacement.

Acrylic Filter (if applicable): Some models use an acrylic filter. This filter should be replaced at least once every 2 months, or more frequently if the appliance is used intensively.

Activated Charcoal Filter: This filter is used only when the hood is not connected to a ventilation duct (air circulation mode). It absorbs odors until saturated and is not suitable for washing or regeneration. It should be replaced at least once every 3-4 months, or more frequently if the appliance is used intensively.

To ensure safe operation of your MICAN 60413, please follow these instructions:

The appliance is designed for household use only, to remove cooking odors.

Do not leave an open flame under the hood. When pots are removed from a gas burner, set the flame to its minimum.

When cooking with fat or oil, supervise the pans constantly as overheated fat can ignite.

It is strictly forbidden to cook dishes with an open flame (flambé) under your kitchen hood.

Do not operate the hood without the aluminum grease filters installed.

Unplug the appliance before any cleaning, filter replacement, or repair work.

Ensure adequate ventilation (air flow) if other equipment, such as liquid fuel stoves, are operated in the same room.

Do not lean on the hood.

Before installing, make sure the wall/ceiling structure is strong enough to suspend the hood.

Ensure the voltage on the nameplate corresponds to your local mains supply voltage.

Before connecting to the mains, check that the power cord is properly installed and not trapped by the appliance.

After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment. In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with the symbol of the crossed-out waste container. This marking indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it has been used. The user is obliged to hand it over to a waste collection center that collects used electrical and electronic goods. The collectors, including local collection points, shops, and local authority departments, provide recycling schemes. Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid environmental and health hazards.
