OK Acknowledgement (from TV):

– If data read mode, [Data] indicates present status. If data write mode, it returns PC’s data.

Error Acknowledgement (from TV):

[Data] 00: Illegal Code. Transmitted for non-viable functions or communication errors.

Note: During media playback or recording, all commands except Power (ka) and Key (mc) are treated as NG. With an RS232C cable, the TV can communicate the “ka” (Power) command in power-on or power-off status. However, with a USB-to-Serial converter cable, the “ka” command works only if the TV is on.
