Follow these steps to attach the stand base to your LG 22EN33S monitor:

1. Place the monitor with the screen side down on a flat and cushioned surface. It is recommended to lay a foam mat or soft protective cloth on the surface to protect the screen from damage.

2. Attach the Stand Body to the monitor set.

3. Attach the Stand Base to the Stand Body.

4. Tighten the screw to the right using a coin to secure the Stand Base.

To detach the stand from your LG 22EN33S monitor, follow these steps:

1. Place the monitor with the screen side down on a flat and cushioned surface.

2. Pull out the Stand Body and Stand Base from the monitor set.

3. Turn the screw to the left with a coin to loosen it.

4. Pull out the Stand Base from the Stand Body.

1. Lift and tilt the monitor into its upright position on a table.

2. Leave a 10 cm (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation.

3. Connect the AC-DC Adapter and Power Cord to a wall outlet.

4. Press the Power button on the bottom switch panel to turn the power on.

CAUTION: Unplug the power cord before moving the monitor to another location to avoid electric shock.

You can adjust the angle of the LG 22EN33S monitor to suit your view. The screen can be tilted from -5 degrees (forward) to +20 degrees (backward).

WARNING:

• When you adjust the angle, do not hold the bottom of the monitor frame as this may injure your fingers.

• Do not touch or press the screen when adjusting the angle of the monitor.

• Do not hold the set by the stand, as the monitor screen can detach from the stand base and cause injury.

Yes, you can mount the LG 22EN33S monitor on a wall. For proper ventilation, allow a clearance of 10 cm on each side and from the wall. You will need to use a VESA-compatible wall mounting interface (optional part).

When the monitor power is turned on for the first time in Analog Mode, the “Self Image Setting” function will execute automatically to provide optimal display settings.

The buttons on the bottom of the LG 22EN33S monitor have the following functions:

1. Press the desired button (e.g., MENU, FUNC.) on the bottom of the monitor to open a menu.

2. Use the arrow buttons (◄, ►, ▲, ▼) to navigate and select options.

3. Change the value of a selected menu item by pressing the ◄ or ► buttons.

4. To return to the upper menu or set other menu items, use the up arrow (▲) button.

5. Select EXIT to leave the OSD menu.

Pressing the MENU button provides access to the following settings:

• Brightness: To adjust the brightness of the screen.

• Wide/Original: Switch to full screen mode (Wide) or change the input image signal ratio to its original aspect ratio (Original). This function only works if the input resolution is lower than the monitor’s set ratio (16:9).

From the main menu, you can select “Next Menu” to access more detailed settings for Picture, Color, Display, and Others.

In the “Next Menu” section of the OSD, you can adjust the following:

Picture:

• Sharpness: To adjust the clearness of the screen.

Color:

• Gamma: Set your own gamma value (Gamma 0, 1, 2). High gamma values display whitish images and low gamma values display blackish images.

• Color Temp: Select the screen color. Options include Warm (more red), Medium, Cool (more blue), or Custom (set your own Red, Green, and Blue color levels).

Display (Analog Mode only):

• Horizontal: To move the image left and right.

• Vertical: To move the image up and down.

• Clock: To minimize any vertical bars or stripes visible on the screen background. The horizontal screen size will also change.

• Phase: To adjust the focus of the display. This allows you to remove any horizontal noise and clear or sharpen the image of characters.

In the “Next Menu > Others” section, you can adjust the following:

• Language: To choose the language in which the control names are displayed.

• Power Indicator: Use this function to set the power indicator LED on the bottom of the monitor to On or Off. If you set it to Off, it will go off. If you set it to On, the power indicator will automatically be turned on.

Press the FUNC. button on the monitor, then select Picture Mode. You can choose from several preset modes:

• Custom: A mode where the user can adjust each element, including the color mode of the Main Menu.

• Text: A mode where the screen is adjusted to be best for text.

• Photo: A mode where the screen is adjusted to be best for viewing pictures.

• Cinema: A mode where the screen is adjusted to be best for viewing videos.

• Game: A mode where the screen is adjusted to be best for playing a game.

SUPER ENERGY SAVING is an energy-efficient function that helps you save power. To access it, press the FUNC. button and select SUPER ENERGY SAVING.

• On: Enables the SUPER ENERGY SAVING function.

• Off: Disables the SUPER ENERGY SAVING function.

• Reset: Resets the values of total energy consumption reduction and CO2 emission reduction estimates.

The monitor will display how much power and CO2 has been saved while the feature is active.

Before using these functions, you must install the DUAL SMART SOLUTION program. These features are accessed via the FUNC. button.

DUAL DISPLAY:

• Clone: Allows you to use a secondary monitor as a duplicate (clone) of the primary monitor.

• Extended: Allows you to use a secondary monitor as an extended desktop of the primary monitor.

DUAL WEB:

• This feature helps you browse the web more efficiently by dividing the screen in half. It helps arrange and move windows on the screen and control the ratio of the divided windows.

If no image appears on your screen, check the following:

• Is the power cord of the display connected? Check and see if the power cord is connected properly to the power outlet.

• Is the power indicator light on? Press the Power button.

• Is the power on and the power indicator Red? Adjust the brightness and the contrast.

• Is the power indicator flickering? If the display is in power saving mode, try moving the mouse or pressing any key on the keyboard to bring up the screen. Try to turn on the PC.

• Do you see an “OUT OF RANGE” message on the screen? This message appears when the signal from the PC (video card) is out of the horizontal or vertical frequency range of the display. See the ‘Specifications’ section and configure your display again.

• Do you see a “NO SIGNAL” message on the screen? When the monitor is on “No-Signal” for 5 minutes, the monitor goes to DPM mode.

The “OSD LOCKED” message means that the current control settings are secured so they cannot be inadvertently changed. You can unlock the OSD controls at any time by pushing the MENU button for several seconds. The message “OSD UNLOCKED” will appear, and you will be able to access the settings menu again.

If the display image is incorrect, try the following solutions:

• Display Position is incorrect: Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting.

• On the screen background, vertical bars or stripes are visible: Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting.

• Any horizontal noise appearing in any image or characters are not clearly portrayed: Press the AUTO button to automatically adjust your display image to the ideal setting. Also, check Control Panel > Display > Settings and adjust the display to the recommended resolution or adjust the display image to the ideal setting. Set the color setting higher than 24 bits (true color).

If the screen color is mono or abnormal:

• Check if the signal cable is properly connected and use a screwdriver to fasten it if necessary.

• Make sure the video card is properly inserted in the slot.

• Set the color setting higher than 24 bits (true color) at Control Panel > Settings.

If the screen blinks:

• Check if the screen is set to interlace mode and if yes, change it to the recommended resolution.
