LEF LIGHTING LE15024D (01) PDF SUMMARY:

What are the reference standards for the LED drivers?

The reference standards are EN 55015, EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61347-1, EN 61347-2-13, and EN 61547.

What are the key technical features of the LED drivers?

The LED drivers have an input voltage range of 110-240Vac, an input frequency of 50÷60Hz, and a constant voltage output of 24Vdc. They have an energy efficiency (EE) of 92%. Brightness can be adjusted through a DALI signal or a push-button (PUSH 230Vac). They also feature «LEVEL MEMORY» and «STATUS MEMORY» functions. Synchronization of multiple power supplies is possible via cable (max 10 SLAVE) only in push button operation. Protections include open circuit protection (OCP), overtemperature protection (OTP), and short circuit protection (SCP). They also have power factor correction (PFC) with λ ≥ 0,96. The operating ambient temperature is Ta -10°C ÷ +40°C, and the max case temperature on Tc is 80°C.

What are the general characteristics of the LED drivers?

The LED drivers come in a plastic case and are designed for independent mounting. They have electric class protection II and a protection degree of IP20.

What warnings should be considered during installation and operation?

  1. Always pay attention to the polarity of the secondary cable.
  2. Keep the system away from heat sources and in well-aerated places.
  3. Maintain a minimum distance of 10cm from the LED.
  4. Thermal protection: if the temperature exceeds the limit values, the driver switches OFF and, after a few seconds, it switches ON again.
  5. Avoid short circuits on the secondary side and only apply tension after all LEDs have been connected.
  6. Lock the terminals carefully and do not overtighten.
  7. For LED connections, use a 0.5…1.5mmq cable for a maximum length of 10m; use a 1.5mmq cable for lengths of 10-30m.
  8. For input wiring, use a cable of 2 x 0.75 mmq minimum.
  9. For heavy use, the load must be lower than the maximum indicated by 10% to 20% for all kinds of devices.
  10. Check the maximum working temperature at the tc point.

How does push button control work?

Push button control allows ON/OFF through a short push and dimming through long pressure. In case of mains voltage absence or primary switch, the driver keeps in memory the last selected level of light (status memory). To synchronize multiple power supplies, press and hold the button for 10 seconds.
